What a difference a reveal makes. Now that we know who Britt's (Kelly Thiebaud) mother is, we see where the Port Charles newbie gets her nefarious ways from! 

Dr Obrecht's (Kathleen Gati) daughter is definitely afraid of her Papa, which has us asking,just who is Britt's daddy? Surely fear like Britt's means dear old dad is even more evil than Mother.

Is Obrecht's unwavering loyalty to Faison (Anders Hove) a little telling?  Would Britch make a good Cassadine, as Stefan's (Stephen Nichols) daughter? Is this another plot Jerry Jacks (Sebastian Roche) dipped his pen in? Weigh in with your vote!

At the opening of Nick’s (Joshua Morrow) club, Billy (Billy Miller) and Nick sparred over Newman. The lights went out, so of course Nick’s first thought was of what Victor (Eric Braeden) will say. This week’s The Young and the Restless promo is a bit more general than normal, what with it being the holidays. However, it did give viewers a few hints at what’s in store. It looks like Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Sharon (Sharon Case) will come together to ensure their children don’t miss out on family traditions.

Meanwhile, Katherine (Jeanne Cooper) tells Tucker (Stephen Nichols) to behave, but who knows if he will actually heed his mother’s advice. Billy (Billy Miller) finds some mistletoe, but will it help him woo Victoria (Amelia Heinle)? Watch this week's Y&R promo after the jump!

Daytime television's answer to Richard Branson is no more. According to Soap Opera Uncensored, suds veteran Stephen Nichols has taped his last episode as Tucker McCall on The Young and the Restless.  In other Y&R casting news, the online magazine is reporting Jessica Heap is out as Eden Baldwin.

After discovering Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) sexing up Ronan (Jeff Branson), Summer (Lindsay Bushman) went runningall the way to Daddy Nick (Joshua Morrow). At first Nick didn’t believe Summer. He kept insisting her mom's affair was just for show.When his daughter revealed she’d seen the two together, a furious Nick galloped off to Red.

When Nick arrived to call Phyllis out, she countered by screaming about how alone she was. Ronan, unlike her husband, had been there for her. Where in the wedding vows does it say "I promise to be totally understanding when it comes out that my wife tried to kill two people 20 years ago"?
