Star Jones reunited with former The View co-host Joy Behar on Behar’s HLN show The Joy Behar Show Monday, April 4. During the visit, Jones promoted her new book Satan’s Sisters and the pair rehashed her exit from The View. When asked about happy moments on The View, Jones responded that “The first eight years were all happy,” but revealed that during the final year “It was miserable.”
Jones also pointed out that “Since the day I walked out of the show, you didn’t call, you didn’t write. They cracked my chest, you didn’t send a flower…” To which Behar responded, “I didn’t know that until today. I don’t where, I don’t know why I did not. I swear to you. You believe me? I do not lie. You know I do not lie." Jones agreed "No you don't."

DC EXCLUSIVE: Celebrity Apprentice's Star Jones on NeNe Leaks and How She and Rosie O'Donnell Squashed Their FeudBy Jillian Bowe on March 14, 2011
During our recent visit to Sirius XM Out Q's The Morning Jolt with Larry Flick, I got the chance to sit in on Flick and Keith Price's interview with Celebrity Apprentice diva Star Jones. The guys were also cool enough to let me toss a few questions at the barrister into the mix for Daytime Confidential.
On NeNe Leaks' slams in the press:
Daytime Confidential: NeNe [Leakes] has been going around in the press saying that you are jealous, or I should say "upset" that she went to school for 2 years and you went to school for 8 years and you both are on the "same level". Is that accurate?
Star Jones: No no no. We're not on the same level. Lets make that clear. We're on the same show. This is the thing that everyone needs to understand. I didn't cast the show, Mr Trump and Mark Burnett and NBC cast the show. They cast the show based on what they thought would generate good ratings. This was not a show about friendship. It was a show about whether or not people from different backgrounds, experiences and level of stardom could co-exist for a team and then turn it in for an individual competition. I was very clear on my role in this show. In all honesty, I would never compare myself to another African-American woman. I would never tear down another African-American woman in order to elevate myself. Cream rises to the top and water seeks its own level.
On today’s Daytime Confidential podcast Luke, Jamey, Jillian and Regan hang out with Larry Flick and Keith Price on The Morning Jolt With Larry Flick. During the laugh-filled show they discuss everything from General Hospital killing off baby Jake to The Young and the Restless’ Sharon Newman being an expensive ho. Larry asks Jamey for an update what his sources are telling him about the possible fate of All My Children and One Life to Live.
Former The View host and Celebrity Apprentice cast member Star Jones stops by the Sirius studio to chat about Celebrity Apprentice, NeNe Leakes, her new book Satan’s Sisters and heart health.
Then the gang dives into the latest in pop culture topics, including; the Charlie Sheen fiasco, Showtime’s Shameless, True Blood, Whoopi Goldberg, Tennessee Williams and Luke’s love for Sci-Fi series such as Doctor Who, Torchwood and Battlestar Galactica,
All this and much more on today’s Daytime Confidential podcast! READ MORE
READ MOREBlack Voices: Speaking of Barbara, she had a heart surgery special on ABC recently called 'A Matter of Life and Death' that featured President Bill Clinton, David Letterman, Regis Philbin, Charlie Rose and Robin Williams. You also had heart surgery a year ago, why don't you think she asked you to participate?
Star Jones: Normally I would say: "Now, Jawn, don't try to start anything." However, this time it really isn't about me, but about the new face of heart disease. This disease is no longer your old white man's disease. It is the number one killer of women and the number one killer of African Americans. Heart disease kills more women and blacks than the next four causes of death combined. I had open heart surgery a little less than a year ago, and regardless if it was my "heart story" or someone else's, by not being more inclusive, BW missed a tremendous opportunity to educate, inform and influence the actual people that cardiovascular disease is affecting.
