Michael Douglas Tells Barbara Walters Going Down on Catherine Zeta-Jones Didn't Give Him Cancer (VIDEO)By Jamey Giddens on June 06, 2013
Michael Douglas wants to clear up a few things about recent reports he contracted throat cancer-causing HPV from cunnilngus. The actor reached out to good friend Barbara Walters, who revealed on The View Douglas' wife Catherine Zeta-Jones is healthy and doesn't have HPV.
While discussing Douglas' clarification about there being multiple causes for throat cancer, Walters got a bit testy when Sherri Shepherd wanted to know if he was denying the original report from The Guardian newspaper. Sherri Shepherd will soon be hearing the pitter patter of little feet. The View co-host announced on The Tom Joyner Morning Show she and her husband, Lamar “Sal” Sally have found a surrogate to carry their first child together. Shepherd remarked:
We found a drama-free uterus. We found a girl that didn’t have any drama in her life. We’re putting in our egg and Sal’s sperm and we’ll let you know how it progresses. READ MORE
It was all the ladies of The View could do to keep from bursting into fits of giggles, while discussing convicted murderer Jodi Arias earlier this week. Arias deciding to plead for her life—after first stating she wanted the death penalty—by pitching the courtroom on her plans to start a book club, sell a T-shirt and learn Spanish, among other things, had Whoopi and Co. struggling to keep their composure.
The jury deciding whether Arias should receive the death penalty or life in prison for killing her ex-boyfriend Travis Alexander, resumes deliberations today, after previously being unable to reach a unanimous verdict. Watch a clip from The View after the jump!
Earlier this week, Jodi Arias was convicted of first degree murder in the death of her former boyfriend Travis Alexander. The shocking case of a love affair gone terrible wrong, has developed an almost OJ and Nicole type fascination among cable news outlets and on social media.

The majority of daytime talk's biggest names (Ellen DeGeneres and Kelly Ripa to name a few!) have skipped out on the Daytime Emmy Awards in recent years. Could that be changing this year?
