Sharon and Adam Make Each Other Feel Good on The Young and the Restless

Sharon (Sharon Case) arrived at Adam’s (Michael Muhney) door to lend support to her friend. Adam kissed her, but they soon pulled apart. He later explained she made him feel good. She told Adam he makes her feel good, too. However, before anything more could happen, Sharon got an urgent text reminding her that she forgot to pick up her daughter. Adam sure has a way of distracting Sharon from her children, doesn’t he? READ MORE

Chelsea and Sharon Try to Get Through Victor's Thick Skull on The Young and the Restless

Tuesday's The Young and the Restless opened with Sharon Case talking about Sharon, Nick (Joshua Morrow), Adam (Michael Muhney), her family and friends.  She revealed that one of her favorite relationships on Y&R is the one between Sharon and Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott).  I cannot reiterate how much I’m loving Y&R actors opening the show talking about their characters. I hope we don't have to wait for the 50th Anniversary for it to happen again.

At the hospital, Sharon called Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) and informed her that Adam had been shot.  Chelsea rushed to the hospital, where she and Sharon confronted Victor (Eric Braeden) about Adam's love for his father. Victor fired back that it was not his decision to not raise Adam in Genoa City.  I loved those scenes because of how hard rivals Sharon and Chelsea were trying to get Victor to realize the truth. Why Did Adam Take a Bullet For His Daddy on The Young and the Restless?

Monday's episode of The Young and the Restless opened with Billy Miller talking about his popular character Billy Abbott. It was so nice to see Billy and Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) scenes.I was a big fan of that pairing. I'm sure the Villy's scenes were great for Daytime Confidential's Jamey Giddens, but the couple has never been my cup of tea.

The Newman clan quickly apprehended Adam's (Michael Muhney) shooter. Nick (Joshua Morrow) demanded to know who he was and why he recognized him. The assassin teased that they'd all be dead soon. Billy (Billy Miller) smelled gas in the house and quickly shouted for everyone to get out. READ MORE

Joshua Morrow Looks Back as Y&R Turns 40

The Young and the RestlessJoshua Morrow (Nick) took a look back at his 20 years on the sudser with MSN entertaintment,as the number one sudser turns the big 4-0. The chat covered everything from his start on the soap in 1994, to the iconic storyline that killed off his on-screen daughter Cassie (Camryn Grimes) in 2005. Here's a snippet:

Y&R’s got a new executive producer in charge.

I’m an athlete and I take sports very seriously. Jill [Farren Phelps] came in and gave us a very strong, commanding voice as a coach. Now, that style of leadership sometimes rubs people the wrong way. Sometimes people are kind of hanging on to the past but I think we really needed some serious leadership. Some kind of “Shut the eff up, get on your marks and let’s go!” She is no joke. I love her for it. I love [former executive producer and head writer] Maria [Arena Bell] too. I thought she was very nurturing. We got along very well. She did a great job. Even Jack Smith before that. They all really respected Nick and always kept me busy – there’s nothing else I could ask for. They all have different styles of leadership. I really like Jill and Josh Griffith has done a great job writing. I can give anybody the benefit of the doubt, but you come in here and do a good job. That’s all I ask for. I take my job very seriously. I want this show to continue and if it takes these two people to do it, then let’s go!

Jill’s brought some friends with her.

Yes, many.

A Good Fake Man is Hard to Find on The Young and the Restless

Tuesday’s The Young and the Restless opened with Joshua Morrow reflecting on Nick, his family and loves Phyllis (Michelle Stafford), Sharon (Sharon Case) and Avery (Jessica Collins). Every time I see clips from Cassie’s (Camryn Grimes) death, I still get a bit choked up.

Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) tried to convince Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) she should find another man to hide the truth about her baby from Adam (Michael Muhney). Chelsea informed Chloe she was legit now, but did lament that a good fake man is hard to find. After Chloe left, Dylan (Steve Burton) stopped at the table to chat with Chelsea. I’m not sure what to think about the obvious Dylan and Chelsea chemistry test going on. READ MORE
