Dollar Bill Falls on Liam's Tiny Sword on The Bold and the Beautiful

Daytime Confidential’s Jamey Giddens is right; Bill Spencer’s (Don Diamont) instant drinking problem is contrived, lazy and out of nowhere. Everytime a character brings up Dollar Bill's "problem with alcohol", I just roll my eyes. This subplot came out of left field —  much like Bill's decision to stab himself with Liam's (Scott Clifton) miniature sword necklace charm. READ MORE

Hope Threatens to Take Everything From Bill on The Bold and the Beautiful

I have to hand it to Kim Matula; she did an excellent job today conveying Hope’s pain, anger and confusion when hit with one betrayal after another on Tuesday’s episode of The Bold and the Beautiful.

First, she confronted Bill (Don Diamont) about Deacon (Sean Kanan), the roadblocks at her Italian wedding, the note and Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) in Liam’s (Scott Clifton) room. Then, she discovered her aunt Katie (Heather Tom) knew about it as well, and had went into labor when she learned the truth. Finally, Hope was rocked by the betrayal of her mother Brooke, who had also kept the secret from her.

Hope demanded to know why no one told her the truth. Brooke tried to explain she was unsure of what to do with the information. READ MORE

DC's 10 Worst Soap Opera Couples of 2012

No. 10: Neil and Harmony, The Young and the Restless

We're sure the brass at The Young and the Restless hoped pairing uptight, buppie Neil Winters (Kristoff St. John) with another sassy, sistah from the streets would generate the same kind of heat Neil's relationship with street urchin-turned-fashionista Drucilla Barber (Victoria Rowell) accomplished in the 90's. It didn't.

Man, was it painful to watch two popular, talented soap stars like St. John as Debbi Morgan—as promiscuous, recovering crackhead Harmony— attempt to manufacture chemistry where there obviously wasn't any to be found.

Do Liam and Hope Still Belong Together on The Bold and the Beautiful?

Tuesday’s The Bold and the Beautiful kicked off with Rick (Jacob Young) and Caroline (Lindsey Godfrey) in the afterglow of sex, kissing and cuddling.

Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) was opening mail and Hope (Kim Matula) was telling her how she’ll never stop loving Liam (Scott Clifton). Why is it that anytime someone on a soap is opening mail, I flash back to bill paying and coupon clipping on Guiding Light? It must be some sort of Post Traumatic Ellen Wheeler Disorder.
