The ratings challenged cable channel premieres Oprah’s Lifeclass and Rosie O’Donnell returns to talk TV with The Rosie Show. Can New Shows From Oprah and Rosie Save OWN?

They were two of the most successful daytime talk show hosts of all time, but can new shows from Oprah Winfrey and Rosie O'Donnell save OWN? Discovery is sure hoping so. The communications giant is airing the premieres of The Rosie Show and Oprah's Lifeclass across five Discovery networks, starting Oct. 10 at 7 pm EST. In an interview with O Magazine, O’Donnell talks about her divorce, her time on The View and her very public feud with Donald Trump, Zap2it reports.

Rosie’s Retooled OWN Talk Show Debuts Oct. 10

Oprah’s cable channel OWN has struggled since its debut and it now looks like those difficulties are beginning to impact other series. According to USA Today, Rosie O’Donnell’s talk show–intended as a single topic daytime talker–is changing its format and will air at 7 PM EST. Reportedly, the reconfigured show will include “fun, games and entertainment variety.”
