Soap fans can finally start tossing out all some of those old episodes of The Bold and the Beautiful they have on VHS. According to Soaps in Depth, the CBS soap is now offering three episode collections: “Most Shocking Moments,” “Catfights and Brawls” and “Best of Ridge, Brooke and Taylor” via a Roku-enabled TV app.
Don't have a Roku? No problem! Reportedly, “adRise will be releasing the app onto other services later this year, including Internet-connected TVs, Blu-ray players, set-top boxes, game consoles, iPads and Android tablets.”
Was The Bold and the Beautiful showrunner Brad Bell just as stunned as fans when he learned of Ronn Moss' (Ridge) decision to quit the serial? That's what the Hollywood scion told TV Guide's Michael Logan.
TV Guide Magazine: It's long been a point of pride that you've been able to hang on to B&B's original core four — Katherine Kelly Lang [Brooke], Susan Flannery [Stephanie], John McCook [Eric Forrester] and Ronn Moss. So how big a blow is this?
Bell: It's huge. And it came out of the blue. I only found out last Thursday [Aug. 9] about Ronn's decision not to renew. So I'm very sad but also very grateful for the 25 years we did have with him. Ronn is a wonderful man and a great actor and he'll be sorely missed.
Ronn Moss has provided a statement about his decision to leave the role of Ridge Forrester on The Bold and the Beautiful, after 24 years. Here's what the actor relayed to his fans via Facebook:
I want to make sure, without any doubt, that you guys all know how much I love you. Your support during this time and hopefully beyond is everything. I can't say anything yet, but soon will explain. Hang in there with me, We have a wonderful new journey ahead of us.
Try and not be sad, angry, disappointed.. It's been a great run and all good things end eventually. As this door closes, others are opening.
I want you all to come with me through these new doors of opportunities and experience how cool it's going to be. Have faith, be strong, Know I'm eternally yours. READ MORE
