As The World Turns hunk Jon Hensley has been recurring on The Bold and the Beautiful as Dr Meade for quite some time now. However, with Ronn Moss exiting the role of oft-naked fashion designer Ridge Forrester, could the good doc be the answer to keeping the carnal activities going in Brooke's (Katherine Kelly Lang) bedroom? Here's what Hensley said regarding his desire to work with Lang in Sept. 10 issue of Soap Opera Digest:

"I've always wanted to work with her, but I knew it wasn't a possibility because she was tied in to Ronn," Hensley shares. "Now that that's dissolved somewhat, that door has opened. It would be nice, even if it's just for a few weeks. Nobody has mentioned that to me [yet] because I don't think anybody thought it was an option, but we'll see! I think it would be great. It's completely open at this point. I don't have any attachements to anybody or anything, so if they chose to use me, they could really go in any direction they want. I'm totally down with it!" The real deal Holyfield is starting to trickle out about why Ronn Moss (Ridge) and Susan Flannery (Stephanie) are leaving The Bold and the Beautiful after 25 years. A pair of articles in the Sept. 3 issue of Soap Opera Digest reveal there's a whole lot more going on than stopped clocks and proper farewell storylines at the House of Bell!

According to Digest's moles, Moss was asked to take a "significant pay cut". Meanwhile, a source told the magazine of Flannery:

"Susan adores the younger actors and really believes they are doing a great job, but she thinks the writers are focusing too much on those characters," says a source. "She had a conversation with Brad [Bell, executive producer/head writer]. It will be interesting to see if any of her words made an impression with him." READ MORE

Ronn Moss has given an exclusive interview to Entertainment Weekly on his decision to leave the The Bold and the Beautiful after 25 years. During the metaphysically-charged chat, the actor revealed how the car accident he and his wife were recently in, along with other "signs"—such as the dressing room clock that stopped at the exact time he was born—led to his decison to leave Ridge Forrester behind. 

On a slightly lower plane, Moss also revealed money played a factor, and how news of his and on screen mama Susan Flannery's (Stephanie) departures were made public. Said Moss:

Did you see the news about Susan Flannery also leaving the show? What do you think about that?

I had already known that, and the reason that my leaving got broadcast out was because Susan had blurted out on stage that we were both leaving last week. I knew that, and I knew that she was considering doing this. I think she’s doing it sooner than she even was thinking, but I think that says something. I’ll leave it there because I have to. I can’t really comment on that because her path is there now, too. READ MORE
