Rick Springfield Checks Back Into General Hospital

Soap Opera Digest is reporting Rick Springfield will step back into his lab coat on General Hospital. Dr.Noah Drake returns to Port Charles to help his eldest son Patrick (Jason Thompson) deal an emotinal time regarding Robin (Kimberly McCullough). Look for Springfield to return in March.
Rick Springfield Gets "Hot In Cleveland"

TV Guide is reporting actor/singer Rick Springfield has snagged a role on Hot In Cleveland. According to the site the General Hospital alum will play himself as a new resident of Cleveland. Springfield will mix things up with Jane Leeves' Joy. No word on when the actor's airdate is slated.
Hot In Cleveland airs Wednesdays at 10 pm EST on TV Land.

Okay, full disclosure. I didn't like the first episode of Lauralee Bell's webcom Family Dinner when it premiered, so I didn't keep watching. Looks like that was a big mistake on my part, because the Funny or Die series has gotten a lot funnier! In the latest installment, Shirley Jones guests as a "musical therapist" resulting in the whacked out family members having some goofy-yet-humorous fantasies featuring their fave singers. Rick Springfield Talks Teen Suicide on The View

During the visit, he recounts how he attempted suicide as a young person and encourages today’s kids considering suicide to “give it a moment or six weeks, because nothing remains the same.” Watch The View’s interview with Rick Springfield after the jump.
