Sneak Peek at Lifetime Movie Network's Seven Deadly Sins, Starring DAYS' Alum Rachel Melvin!

It looks like Pretty Little Liars' Ashley Benson (ex-Abby, DAYS) isn't the only Salem High graduate helping to bring a popular YA novel series to the small screen. Benson's former costar Rachel Melvin (ex-Chelsea, DAYS) stars in Lifetime Movie Network's miniseries adaptation of the Seven Deadly Sins books from Robin Wasserman.
Melvin portrays the role of Kaia Sellers, a scheming transfer student who takes on Harper Grace (Dreama Walker) for the title of ultimate Queen Bee,that is when she isn't stealing her friend Beth's (Emma Lahana) boyfriend Adam (Jared Keeso), and/or trying to seduce her French teacher, Mr. Powell (played by Santa Barbara alum Eric Close). Rachel Melvin in Heroes Season Premiere

Rachel Melvin made a short-lived appearance on the season premiere of Heroes' fourth season. In it, she portrayed Claire's ambitious college roommate Annie, with a career trejectory chart and everything. Annie's unexplained death set up what may be a subplot for the rest of the season as Claire investigates Annie's death with her second roommate.

Rachel Melvin has been a busy young woman since leaving Days of Our Lives. In addition to signing on as Hayden Panettiere's college roomate on Heroes, Melvin has landed a role in the upcoming Lifetime Movie Network miniseries Sins, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Starring Gossip Girl's Dreama Walker, Sins is a contemporary look at the seven deadly sins. Sound raunchy!
