The Bold and the Beautiful showrunner Brad Bell is mourning the loss of family friend—and frequent B&B guest star—Phyllis Diller. The groundbreaking comedienne passed away on Monday at the age of 95.
"I was saddened to hear of the passing of Phyllis Diller, who was a life-long friend of my mother, Lee Phillip Bell, and a long term character, 'Gladys Pope', on The Bold and the Beautiful," said Bell. "Her last television performance, at 95-years-old, was on our show. Phyllis will be remembered by the laughter she brought to those who knew and loved her, including audiences around the world."
