Is Summer a Newman or an Abbott on The Young and the Restless?

If you follow me on Twitter, you know I become absolutely irate when anyone even jokes about the possibility of Summer (Hunter King) being Jack Abbott's (Peter Bergman) biological daughter on The Young and the Restless. In my mind, Summer is the daughter of Phyllis "Red" Summers (Michelle Stafford) and dimpled, speakeasy proprietor Nicholas Newman (Joshua Morrow) and that's THAT! But could I be wrong?

In the March 25-April 8 issue of CBS Soaps In Depth, the magazine raised the question of a paternity puzzle with both King and Y&R scribe Josh Griffith.

Said King of her conversations with Griffith:

"I ask Josh almost every day, 'Whose daughter am I?' she smiles. "He says to me, 'I don't know what you're talking about.'

While Griffith told the mag Nick is simply being protective of Summer, in not wanting his daughter pursuing anything with Kyle (Blake Hood)—as opposed to trying to prevent a Greek tragedy—the writer did offer this cryptic tease:

"We're looking at the possibility of anything."

Lord have mercy, y'all are gonna make Phick lovers call up the Lane fans and ask for the number of one of them there banner plane pilots!

Do you guys think Summer will turn out to be Nick's child, or Jack's?

Adam Offers Up a SOAPGASMIC Toast to Victor and Nikki on The Young and the Restless!

Oh, this is gonna be gooood! Victor Newman's (Eric Braeden) prodigal son crashes the Black Night's umpteenth wedding to Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) today on The Young and the Restless.

Will Adam (Michael Muhney) finally reveal all the trifling, scandalous mess Victor was up last winter — like hiring a druggie hooker to target rival Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) on New Year's Eve? Judging from the sneak peek below at Adam's soapgasmic toast, it's a very good possibility!

Paul Hires Detective Chavez at GCPD on The Young and the Restless

Thursday’s The Young and the Restless opened with Michelle Stafford talking about how Phyllis arrived in Genoa City. She reflected about her relationships with Jack (Peter Bergman), Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Sharon (Sharon Case). She also said she loved playing Sheila Carter.

Much of the episode featured Jack and Phyllis’ slow build relationship.

Am I the only one who wants to see a Detective Chavez (Ignacio Serricchio) and Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) pairing? Speaking of pairings, has anyone else found it odd that Kyle (Blake Hood) seems to know Phyllis better than Jack? READ MORE

Jack Professes His Love For Phyllis on The Young and the Restless

Wednesday’s The Young and the Restless episode started with Michael Muhney talking about Adam’s Genoa City relationships.

Jack (Peter Bergman) professed his love for Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) by telling her he is falling in love with her all over again. Why does Jack and Phyllis’ relationship always suck me in? They are perfect for one another. They know each other’s faults and weaknesses, and accept one another for who they are. I guess I just answered my own question. READ MORE
