Will Rosie O'Donnell Hosted Docs Boost OWN's Saggy Ratings?

It looks like Rosie O'Donnell will be pulling double duty for Oprah's OWN Network. According to Deadline.com, O'Donnell, who has an upcoming talk show on the cable channel, will play host to a set of specials selected from the network's Documentary Film Club. New Oprah Series Goes Behind the Scenes

Oprah Winfrey cleverly found a loophole in her contract, which prevents her from doing a talk show on OWN while her current show wraps up its 25th and final season, by debuting a "behind-the-scenes" series on her new network that takes a look at the backstage on-goings at The Oprah Winfrey Show.
EW's Lynette Rice reports:
Narrated by Winfrey, the show takes a behind-the-scenes look at the 25th and final season of Oprah before she rides off into the sunset next September. What a marvelous idea: I didn’t catch the premiere episode of Oprah but felt like I got a much better perspective of the adrenaline-fueled hour by watching Behind the Scenes. I doubt we’ll ever witness those truly authentic behind-the-scenes moments, like Winfrey possibly having an epic meltdown or executive producer Sheri Salata blowing up at her staff, but I definitely got the idea that it’s not all fun and games for the 464 employees at Harpo Studios in Chicago.Moving forward, my hope is that we’ll learn lots more about those employees who bust their asses to make Oprah the No. 1 talk show (and where they’ll go after it all ends).

Hugh Jackman Injures Eye During Oprah Show Stunt in Oz

Hugh Jackman darn near put his eye out trying to show out for The Mighty O down in Australia. The actor attempted to sail in on some contraption for a taping of The Oprah Winfrey Show at the Sydney Opera House and ended up hitting his doggone eye! Jackman wasn't seriously hurt, according to our pals over at Zap2it, but paramedics were called in to ice his eye. Hugh, you ain't the Wolverine; you just play him at the movies! According to The Hollywood Reporter, media titans Oprah Winfrey and Co-chairman of Disney Media Networks and President of Disney/ABC Television Group Anne Sweeney (who is Brian Frons' boss) landed on their coveted Women In Entertainment's Power 100 list. Sweeney came in at the number one spot for the second year in a row for the financial revenue generated, value of assets and the number of employees she manages. The mighty O is no slouch either, sliding in at number four for helming Harpo studios, O The Oprah Magazine and OWN network.
