Soap-opera-sexpot-turned-rancher Lynn Herring hasn't forgotten about Lucy Coe, the insanely popular minx she played on General Hospital and the GH spinoff Port Charles on and off from 1985-2003. In last week's Soap Opera Digest, Herring talked about the "tricky" logistics involed in bringing Lucy back to the almost 50-year-old serial. Said Herring:

"It's tricky, because I know I would love to be back on the show, but in the same breath, I can see the struggles we have in this climate right now with trying to entice the audience back, and bringing in a lot of the One Life to Live people, and bringing back some of the old people who still have kids there."

Former As the World Turns stars Vanessa Ray, Marnie Schulenburg and Meredith Hagner reunited with Jake Silbermann at the Abingdon Theatre, on August 25, for a screening of Silbermann’s film STUFFER.  So what have these ATWT stars been up too since the long-running soap went off the air?

Ray has appears in USA Network’s new hit series Suits–the best new series of the summer–as Jenny Griffith. Hagner starred in the cancelled FX series Lights Out and continues to pop up on USA’s Royal Pains. Earlier this year Schulenburg joined Ilene Kristen, Brittany Underwood, Kristen Alderson and Ellen Dolan for a brief run in My Big Gay Italian Wedding.

Meredith Hagner made her mark as As the World Turns’ Liberty. We love her as Libby on USA’s hit Royal Pains. Tonight you can watch her on FX’s new boxing drama Lights Out, according to CBS Soaps in Depth.

We Love Soaps reports Sarah Wilson has been cast to play Liberty Ciccone on As The World Turns. The actress will hit the screen in mid-March after fan favorite Meredith Hagner vacates the role.
