Melody Thomas Scott
The Young and the Restless vixen Melody Thomas Scott is taking a break from the drama of Genoa City to guest star on The Crazy Ones. TV Guide Magazine's Michael Logan is reporting Scott has landed a role on the CBS comedy. She will play a librarian who can't hold her liquor. Sound familiar? The actress will mix things up with Robin Williams and All My Children alum Sarah Michelle Gellar.
According to Scott:
I was originally called in for another role on the show and was told by the producers that I was too young, which was fabulous! But they thought Robin and I would play off each other well, so they created a role for me in a different episode. It's a great character and not at all glamorous like Nikki. This poor girl is really trying to be sexy but she's just not cutting it — and she has no qualms about pulling out her flask during library hours.
You don't have to go home, but you have to get the hell out of this here athletic club! That's the message new GCAC manager Lily (Christel Khalil) delivers to Hilary (Mishael Morgan) today on The Young and the Restless. I wonder if the club's new owner, Devon (Bryton James), will cosign his sister's power move?
Elsewhere in town, Nick (Joshua Morrow) is feeling all shades of guilty about turning his back on Sharon (Sharon Case) and Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) is worried Dylan (Steve Burton) is busy shopping for ties for an early Father's Day present. Watch Wednesday's Y&R sneak peek after the jump!
Dylan's (Steve Burton) quest for a family reunion is about to produce results sooner than expected on The Young and the Restless. Socialite Nikki Newman's (Melody Thomas Scott) baby daddy/cult leader Ian Ward (Ray Wise) takes a trip to Genoa City to reunite with his former follower, just as their son heads to Idaho to learn more about his bio dad.
TV Guide Magazine: Yeah, right. Ian sexually abused Nikki back in the New World Commune days and impregnated her with Dylan. Why would she let him in the door, much less back in her life?
Wise: I can't reveal his big secret reason for coming to town — what he really wants — but he certainly hopes to reestablish a relationship with the beautiful Nikki. Once upon a time, she felt a little something for him. He thinks he can override her fears and get that back. He's a very confident fellow.
Does Mama know best in Genoa City? Today on The Young and the Restless, Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) discourages Dylan (Steve Burton) from searching for his cult leader bio daddy.
Jill (Jess Walton) wants to know where her son is; while Victor (Eric Braeden) is having his kid investigated. Watch a sneak peek of Monday's Y&R after the jump!
Nothing makes blood flow to your nether regions like mourning grade schoolers. Billy (Billy Miller) jumps Kelly's (Cynthia Watros) bones next week on The Young and the Restless!
As the rest of Genoa City celebrates the New Year, look for a Shick kiss, Dylan (Steve Burton) to go looking for his daddy and Victoria (Amelia Heinle) to confront her hubby about the distance between them. Watch the latest Y&R promo after the jump! READ MORE
Eric Braeden should have been on Baywatch, because he is rescuing the hell out of this Dylan-is-Nikki's-long-lost-kid farce! Today on The Young and the Restless, The Great Victor Newman chastises Dylan (Steve Burton) about Nikki's (Melody Thomas Scott) will. I literally scream with laughter everytime Victor hoe-checks this interloper.
Somewhere, certainly not Wisconsin in the winter, Abby (Melissa Ordway) and Tyler (Redaric Williams) are frolicking on the beach. Remember when an actual storyline preceded romantic location shoots on soaps? In fact, they used to be the payoff, following a supercouple-building arc.
Ordway has been in two on screen romances, since taking over the role of Abby, but has yet to have so much as one storyline. I guess Abby and Tyler have endured some pretty insurmountable odds, what with his imaginary ex-girlfriend coming between them and all.
Back home in the G.C., Summer (Hunter King) blabs to Michael (Christian LeBlanc) and Lauren (Tracey Bregman) about knowing Fen (Max Ehrich) killed Carmine (Marco Dapper). Would that she, Jack (Peter Bergman) and/or Avery (Jessica Collins) be a 10th as interested in learning how Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) ended up with porridge dribbling down her chin.
