Thursday’s The Young and the Restless opened with Michelle Stafford talking about how Phyllis arrived in Genoa City. She reflected about her relationships with Jack (Peter Bergman), Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Sharon (Sharon Case). She also said she loved playing Sheila Carter.

Much of the episode featured Jack and Phyllis’ slow build relationship.

Am I the only one who wants to see a Detective Chavez (Ignacio Serricchio) and Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) pairing? Speaking of pairings, has anyone else found it odd that Kyle (Blake Hood) seems to know Phyllis better than Jack? READ MORE

Tuesday’s The Young and the Restless opened with Joshua Morrow reflecting on Nick, his family and loves Phyllis (Michelle Stafford), Sharon (Sharon Case) and Avery (Jessica Collins). Every time I see clips from Cassie’s (Camryn Grimes) death, I still get a bit choked up.

Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) tried to convince Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) she should find another man to hide the truth about her baby from Adam (Michael Muhney). Chelsea informed Chloe she was legit now, but did lament that a good fake man is hard to find. After Chloe left, Dylan (Steve Burton) stopped at the table to chat with Chelsea. I’m not sure what to think about the obvious Dylan and Chelsea chemistry test going on. READ MORE

Dylan (Steve Burton) realized Avery's (Jessica Collins) car had been tampered with. While the ever-so handyman, Avery and Nick (Joshua Morrow) were trying to put two and two together, Leslie (Angell Conwell) was explaining to Neil (Kristoff St. John) the truth about her secret identity. READ MORE

Cane (Daniel Goddard) and Lily (Christel Khalil) continued to argue about what had happened between her and Daniel (Michael Graziadei). Cane said he felt they were standing in sand and their relationship was slipping away. Boy, wouldn’t that be a treat?

Lily told him they would continue to beat the odds and that she was committed to her marriage, their family and to him.  The two ended up making love. READ MORE

Michael (Christian LeBlanc), Kevin (Greg Rikaart) and Fen (Max Ehrich) handled the power outage to the best of their abilities. Meanwhile, Lauren (Tracey Bregman) and Carmine (Marco Dapper) gave into their attraction and kissed.

Abby (Marcy Rylan) arrived at Nick’s (Joshua Morrow) club and ordered a dirty martini. Detective Chavez (Ignacio Serricchio) was at the bar, and started to hit on the Naked Heiress. With her ex-boyfriend Carmine playing tonsil hockey with Lauren, it’s good someone else is interested in Abby. I hope the potential couple gets a slow build, and not a quick hop, skip and jump into bed. The one thing I didn’t understand from their scene was Abby’s mention of mooching off her mom. She won 500 million dollars from her daddy. She doesn’t need to mooch off her mom.
