Regan Reax: Do I Really Feel Bad For One Life to Live's John McBain?

What in the world is going on? I actually feel bad for John McBain (Michael Easton) on One Life to Live! Now, I’m not completely heartless, the story alone can make anyone feel bad for the daddy in question. To have your almost wife, Natalie (Melissa Archer) lie to you about being a father and then to find out— on your wedding day no less— that the kid isn’t yours, but your best man’s, well that’s a doozy by anyone’s standards. But, to feel bad for John McBain, a character I normally detest? WTH? READ MORE

One Life To Live is all over the pop culture landscape these days! Yet another advertorial for the show—this time featuring the John (Michael Easton)/Natalie (Melissa Archer)/Brody (Mark Lawson) paternity storyline—popped up on Perez Hilton's blog. This spot comes on the heels of the ad featuring another Buchanan twin, Jessica  (Bree Willamson), and her DNA debacle invovling Brody and Ford (David Gregory) landing on Perez and People.com.

Sneak Peek: OLTL Pulls Out All The Stops For Starr X'D Lovers: The Musical!

It's that time of year again. Prom Night is upon the denizens of Llanview, PA, and excitement is bursting over, as one of the most anticipated events in a high schooler's life is set to play out over three, dramatic, explosive, melodic, "Starr X'd" episodes of One Life to Live, beginning this Friday, May 14.

Yours truly was invited to the OLTL studio recently for a preview of Starr X'd Lovers: The Musical, and honies let me tell y'all, the gang over at OLTL has pulled out all the stops to give fans a smash, 3-day event. Several of the soap's major storylines climax during the Glee-esque eppys, including: Langston's (Brittany Underwood) creeping behind Markko's (Jason Tam) back with Ford (David Gregory); Cole (Brandon Buddy) being in the slammer for almost killing Starr's (Kristen Alderson) Pops; a "teenage" Jessica (Bree Williamson) gunning for Cristian (David Fumero), much to the chagrin of Brody (Mark Lawson) and Layla (Tika Sumpter) and Matthew (Eddie Alderson) finally getting the girl, except Danielle's (Kelley Missal) set her sights on another... Scrap the Crap, Give us Brody and Natalie on OLTL!

I honestly can’t think of anything more to say about this craptastic retread of a couple. Cut your losses already OLTL and go for what is working and that is Brody (Mark Lawson) and Natalie! Their scenes light up our TVs.

Should OLTL's Brody be the Meat in a Buchanan Sister Sandwich?

Maybe it's wishful thinking and an intense desire to watch these characters in more interesting storylines, but if you ask me ABC Soap Scoop's latest promo hinted at the possibility of somethin’ somethin’ developing between Brody (Mark Lawson) and Natalie (Melissa Archer). Initially I thought the pairing would be a bit odd, but the more I thought about it the more intrigued I became. Such a pairing would hopefully help get Natalie out of Marty (Susan Haskell) and McBoring’s (Michael Easton) storyline and lead to a Natalie/Brody/Jessica triangle just as the 17 going on insufferable “teenage” Jessica (Bree Williamson) begins to get her memories back and realizes she still has feelings for Brody.
