Nancy Lee Grahn Speaks Out on Lexi Ainsworth's GH Departure

Nancy Lee Grahn let her feelings be known on Twitter about TV daughter Lexi Ainsworth being fired at General Hospital. Grahn stated:

It is no secret how much I love Lexi, and how talented I think she is. It will also come as no surprise that I am sad about her leaving... and yes, tears were shed.

Very often things out of our control turn out to be the most perfect orchestration of circumstances that lead to even better experiences, that shape our lives in profound ways. As much as I will miss Lexi, I believe this will end up being a blessing for her. At 19, there are endless acting opportunities, and now she is free to pursue them. My TV baby is a beautiful, classy young woman with a fantastically, supportive family, and a bright, bright future. I'm so excited for her.

Cheers,

SHOCKER: Lexi Ainsworth DONE at General Hospital?!

We'd hoped it was just a ridiculous rumor, but apparently it's true. One of the best young actresses in soaps is reportedly out of a day job. Daytime Emmy nominee Lexi Ainsworth tweeted tonight that she has filmed her last episode as General Hospital's Kristina Corinthos.

Sorry it seems that I wasn't responding I was asked by Jill and again by Mitch the publicist not to say anything but since it appears to be officially out there I will confirm I shot my last episode at GH yesterday. It's been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life and I wouldn't trade one second of it even the not so great parts for all that I've learned to prepare me for the next phase of my career. Want to THANK each one of you from the bottom of my heart! Soap fans are the best and I'm so glad to have been part of it's legacy. READ MORE
