Known as “the quiet one” of *NSYNC, Lance Bass has decided to jump on the boyband resurgence train.  Bass tells Vulture that he sold a boyband competition show to VH1.  The idea is to have fellow *NSYNC-er Joey Fatone, New Kid on the Block Joey McIntyre, Backstreet Boy A.J. McLean, and New Edition member Bobby Brown each mentor a group of boys, preselected by Bass, who’d form a boyband.  These new boybands will then compete for the title of “Best Band.” 

This isn’t the first time VH1 has thought adding something boyband-centric to its reality show slate was a good idea.  In 2007 Mission: Man Band saw Color Me Badd’s Bryan Abrams, LFO’s Rich Cronin, 98 Degrees’ Jeff Timmons, and another *NSYNC-er, Chris Kirkpatrick, forming a new boyband called Sureshot.  READ MORE

Turns out the alleged Dancing With the Stars cast list had at least one of its actors right! Dust off those dancing shoes soap fans, Susan Lucci is going to be on the next season of the ABC hit reality show.

Now I do not profess to be a DWTS expert, but can anyone tell us what Susan's odds are with partner Tony Dovolani? I know that many feel that if you're paired with Cheryl Burke you have a better chance of winning. How does Susan being paired up with Dovolani look to those of you who really know the show?
