Kristina Wagner Reveals How GH Girlfriends And 'The Good Wife' Got Her Through Jack Wagner's Return

General Hospital's Kristina Wagner has been open about initially being uneasy about reuniting onscreen with real and reel life ex-husband Jack Wagner. In the March 25 issue of Soap Opera Digest, the actress shared how good, on set galpals—and the CBS primetime soap The Good Wife—helped her get through Frisco and Felicia reconnecting in Port Charles. Said Wagner:

"I don't think it would have happened had it not been for the love and support I've gotten from fellow castmates, especially women," she declares. "I have learned through this whole life here in Hollywood and on General Hospital, how to ask for help. If you need help, ask for it! And you gotta make sure you ask the right people. And in my case, on the set, just with regards to stuff at General Hospital, I ask the women who are my age. These women who have come back have been very loving and supportive and I think they mean the best. So I'm feeling grateful for all of these women who talk to me when I need to talk about it, Lynn [Herring, Lucy] and Finola [Hughes, Anna], all of them. Anybody who is my age [laughs]. Nothing against the younger generation; I love them dearly!"

Frisco Jones vs. Mac Scorpio: Which Man Does General Hospital's Felicia Belong With?

The Aztec Princess received the shock of her life this week on General Hospital. What is a girl to do?

Should Felicia reunite with world-travelin' Frisco, or stick with good 'ole, dependable Uncle Mac?

Jack Wagner Dishes General Hospital Return With Access Hollywood

The last time General Hospital viewers saw Frisco Jones (Jack Wagner) in Port Charles, the lovable WBS agent/singer was helping Felicia (Kristina Wagner) as their daughter Maxie (then played by Robyn Richards) battled Kawasaki syndrome. Eighteen years later, Wagner has returned home to the show that made him a household name. Access Hollywood was on the GH set to get the details on Frisco's return. Wagner revealed:

When I talked to Frank [Valentini], the [executive] producer, and we decided that Frisco would come back it’s like, ‘Is he coming back [with the] ‘out of the Turkish prison look,’ with a little gruffy beard and Harrison Ford in ‘Raiders of the Lost Ark,’ or, is going to be more Michael Douglas ‘Wall Street’? So he said, ‘Let’s make it Turkish prison.’ So, I’ve cleaned up since I’ve been back.

Jack Wagner on Possible General Hospital 50th Anniversary Return: “They Have Called, But There's Nothing in Ink”

As General Hospital begins to ramp for its 50th Anniversary celebration this spring, we’re beginning to get a hint of the possible stars Frank Valentini and Ron Carlivati are exploring for return visits to Port Charles. In an interview with The Huffington Post, Jack Wagner discusses the likelihood of a reunion between his character Frisco and Kristina Wagner’s Felicia.

At the risk of bringing up the soap hype, is there any chance you would return to "General Hospital"?

That 50th anniversary I think is coming up, right? But I have nothing to say about it. They have called, but there's nothing in ink or anything like that. I know it would be pretty special to work with Kristina, my ex-wife, again so we'll see what happens. I know it's around the corner here and if I go back, it would only be for a very short story arc. But I might do it just to honor that show and what it's meant to my career and the fans and to Kristina's career.
