Kelli Giddish on Post Chris Meloni L&O: SUV Cast, "They've Been Very Accepting of Us"

Seems like Law & Order: Special Victims Unit  has rolled out the red carpet for newcomers Kelli Giddish and Danny Pino. The actors head to the hit procedural on Sept. 21. Giddish will play former Atlanta police officer Amanda Rollins, while Pino's alter ego, Jersey born Nick Amaro, will be Rollins' partner. Giddish revealed to TV Guide how warm the cast has treated she and Pino after slipping into the spot Chris Meloni left when he departed the show. Giddish stated:

Everybody on the set is really excited and energized. They've lost a family member with Chris Meloni leaving, but they've been very accepting of us. Amanda is thrilled to be here working with these people, and so am I.
