Was Kanye West Inspired By Elizabeth Hendrickson's Young and Restless Character?!
By Jillian Bowe on November 23, 2010

What do Kanye West and The Young and the Restless' Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) have in common? Try the Yeezy track "Blame Game". MTV.com dissected the cut from West's highly-anticipated album My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy. The site claims West's "Blame Game" is the most personal tracks from the album and makes a few references to some of pop culture's trend-setters. According to the site:
Just before Rock's (Chris) cameo starts, West blurts out the name "Chloe Mitchell," which doesn't rhyme with anything and doesn't seem to have much context. A quick search shows that Mitchell is a character on the soap opera The Young and the Restless. According to Wikipedia, Chloe is said to have rejuvenated the dying breed of classic soap opera vixens."

DC #588: Mixing it up on The Morning Jolt With Larry Flick
By Daytime Confidential on November 06, 2010
Daytime Confidential/Pop Confidential’s Luke, Jamey, Jillian and Regan returned to Sirius XM's The Morning Jolt With Larry Flick Friday, November 5 for two hours of daytime and pop culture dissection with Flick and his partner-in-snark Keith Price.
In the wild first hour, Larry let loose with several comments about General Hospital’s Elizabeth Webber that had Jamey, Luke and Regan howling in defense of their sacred heroine, as DC's lone JaSam fan Jillian cheered. The return of Vanessa Marcil Giovinazzo as Brenda Barrett was also discussed. Does the veteran Billboard writer and radio personality feel the story is limping along like the DC'ers?
The discussion shifted to One Life to Live, the show Larry previously said should be canceled the last time the gang appeared. Has the return of soap superstar Kim Zimmer as Countess Echo di Savoy helped change that opinion? What about All My Children, The Bold and the Beautiful, The Young and the Restless and Days of our Lives? Don't worry, they all get plenty of raunchy, hilarious service!
During the second hour, Larry dives into Pop Confidential territory, taking Luke to task over his dislike of country's current teen queen Taylor Swift. Then, pop culture meets politics as Larry and Keith weigh in on the recent Pop Confidential podcast debate over former President George W. Bush saying Kanye West’ claiming Bush hated black people was the low point of his presidency. If you thought this crew was crazy by themselves, just wait 'til you hear Out Q's most outrageous duo added to the mix! READ MORE
