Julia Pace Mitchell and husband Stephen L. Hightower III are expecting the stork to deliver a bundle of joy in May, according to People. She told the magazine,

“I feel so blessed and hopeful about becoming a mommy for the first time,” the mom-to-be says in a statement.

Have Jill Farren Phelps and Josh Griffith started to quietly clean house at The Young and the Restless? CBS Soaps In Depth is reporting Julia Pace Mitchell (Sofia) has been placed on recurring. It seems as though Mitchell's change in status was first revealed during the sudser's credits. Mitchell confirmed the details to the magazine stating:

The Young and the Restless’ Stephen Nichols and Julia Pace Mitchell were among the celebrities who attended the P.S. Arts Evening of Modernism at Barker Hanger on May 4. Y&R guest star Catherine Bach and Modern Family’s Julie Bowen also popped up at the benefit in Santa Monica. 

The P.S. Arts “works to educate and empower classroom teachers through arts-related workshops that demonstrate how to integrate creative expression and the arts into core academic subjects.”
