Nashville Cast Appears at PaleyFest 2013 (PHOTOS)

Former General Hospital star Jonathon Jackson joined his Nashville co-stars Sam Palladio and Clare Bowen at PaleyFest 2013 on March 9. Connie Britton, Hayden Panettiere (ex-Sarah, One Life to Live; ex-Lizzie, Guiding Light) and Charles Esten were also on hand for the panel.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, a Nashville tour could be in the works.

A well-placed source tells THR that meetings are under way for a tour featuring Esten and co-stars Sam Palladio (Gunnar), Clare Bowen (Scarlett) and Jonathan Jackson (Avery) -- the show's professional singers. Stars Connie Britton (Rayna) and Hayden Panettiere (Juliette) would not participate. ABC declined comment.

Frank Valentini Teases 50th Anniversary Plans For General Hospital

In an interview with TV Guide, General Hospital’s Frank Valentini dishes about his plans with Ron Carlivati for the ABC soap’s 50th Anniversary celebration.

TV Guide Magazine: What can we expect to see at the Ball?

Valentini: There will be some big story reveals over a few days. We're now doing the sketches for the set and costume designs, which are going to be really exciting.  We'll have the characters sing and dance. We'll of course have (inaugural Dancing With the Stars champ) Kelly (Monaco, who plays Sam) dance. We might even bring (her DWTS partner) Val Chermkovskiy back.

Valentini also responds to questions about the possible guest returns of fan favorites, such as: Bobbie Spencer (Jackie Zeman), Audrey Hardy (Rachel Ames), Alan’s ghost (Stuart Damon), Lucky Spencer (Jonathan Jackson), Nikolas (Tyler Christopher), Lesley Webber (Denise Alexander) and Scotty Baldwin (Kin Shriner).

Did The First Half of Nashville’s Season 1 Hit the Right Note?

ABC’s Nashville sang up a lot of drama during its winter finale on Wednesday. Rayna James (Connie Britton) found out about Teddy (Eric Close) being a thief, and then had to defend her scoundrel hubby against allegations he was cheating on her.

Juliette Barnes (Hayden Panettiere) felt the love from Sean's (Tilky Jones) family, until after dinner when his mother made it very clear Juliette wouldn’t be around for long. Being the woman she is, Juliette took it as a challenge. The success of Rayna and Juliette's duet led to the possibility of a co-tour.

Meanwhile, there was a bunch of romantic angst between Nashville’s best two characters, Scarlett (Clare Bowen) and Gunnar (Sam Palladio). At the same time, Avery (Jonathan Jackson) was faced with the decision of choosing his long-time friends and bandmates, or snatching up the music deal he was being offered.

What did you think of Nashville’s first half of the season?

Nashville Lands Full Season Order From ABC

Nashville has been singing the right notes for ABC, and now the soapy drama has been rewarded with a full season pick up, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Reportedly, Nashville has averaged six million viewers and a 2.1 rating in 18-49. However, sales of its songs have helped generate revenue.

Working to its benefit, Nashville has been able to tap ancillary revenue from downloads of the T Bone Burnett-produced music from the series.  READ MORE

Did ABC’s Nashville Sing The Right Tune?

After months of built up anticipation and fantastic trailers promoting Rayna Jaymes (Connie Britton) vs. Juliette Barnes (Hayden Panettiere), Nashville premiered Wednesday night on ABC. You might not have to be a country music fan to enjoy Nashville, but the ABC drama was packed with boot scootin' charm and at least one or two “bless his/her hearts” (which my Daytime Confidential co-hosts have led me to believe is a polite Southern put down).

My favorite part came when Rayna’s two daughters were singing along to Juliette’s song in the car until she shut it off. When they protested, she replied, “Mama’s got a headache.” One character I hope to see more of is Avery Barkley (General Hospital's Jonathan Jackson).

What grade do you give the Nashville pilot?

Watch The Nashville Pilot Now!

ABC’s Nashville is one of the most anticipated new dramas of the 2012 season. Now you can watch the pilot before it premieres on Oct. 10. Nashville stars Friday Night Light’s Connie Britton, former Guiding Light and One Life to Live star Hayden Panettiere and General Hospital favorite Jonathan Jackson.

Britton’s Rayna Jaymes is the Queen of Country, but the label is worried her reign is coming to an end, so they're sending her on tour with upstart, crossover artist Juliette Barnes (Panettiere). Watch the Nashville pilot and tell us what you think. Did you love it or hate it? Check it out after the jump!
