Soap Stars Get 'Dirty' For E! Reality Series From Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos!

First Prospect Park makes a deal that could save the ABC soaps by taking them online, now comes news that E! has picked up Dirty Soap, the much-buzzed about reality series about soap starlets! From Executive Producers Kelly Ripa, Mark Consuelos and Amber Mazzola, the eight-episode series will follow the lives of real life soapers Kelly Monaco (General Hospital), Nadia Bjorlin (Days Of Our Lives), Kirsten Storms (General Hospital), Farah Fath (One Life To Live), JP Lavoisier (One Life To Live), and Galen Gering (Days Of Our Lives).

I just got an email from One Life to Live star Farah Fath (Gigi) who wants to set the record straight about her on and offscreen love interest John-Paul Lavoisier's (Rex) statement to Soap Opera Digest. According to Fath, JP was just joshing:

General Hospital's Brandon Barash and Chad Duell; One Life to Live's David Fumero, Nicholas Robuck, David Gregory and John-Paul Lavoisier and All My Children's Jordi Vilasuso and Trent Garrett, all talked the art of getting sneaky-freaky to promote their steamy, two-page spread in the latest Life & Style.
I can't decide which revelation I got a kick out of more, Barash admitting he's an after sex cuddler or Lavoisier getting a little too excited about chocolate liqueur! This Week in Daytime,
I teared up at As the World Turns’ tribute to Nancy Hughes (Helen Wagner). The episode contained so many wonderful flashbacks. I was in the midst of patting myself on the back for not letting it get to me when they began Nancy’s Thanksgiving prayer and I knew I was a goner. Of course, that touching scene was immediately followed by Katie’s (Terri Colombino) flashbacks of Nancy. I know each ATWT fan has their own fond memories, but there are three reasons I fell in love with ATWT and Oakdale. 1) I discovered ATWT because it was where my beloved Another World characters ended up. 2) I couldn’t get enough of Jack (Michael Park) and Carly’s (Maura West) on again/off again relationship 3). Katie and Simon’s (Paul Leyden) romance–nurtured by Nancy–hooked me. Share your favorite Nancy Hughes moments in the comments. We miss you Helen Wagner.
