General Hospital Fan Club Weekend Scoop!

General Hospital Fan Club Weekend is upon us!  What does that mean in terms of Scoop?  It means lots of fans hit the message boards and give recaps of what they've heard and seen while at various actor's events as well as the main event.  The reports are already coming in!  Check back for updates!

So far, here is what I've got (remember to have your salt shakers near by, these recaps are all based on the fan's perspective of how things were said and the actors in the past have been told by TPTB what they can and can not say):

One fan said Steve Burton (Jason) was asked about Liason and his response was that they are stalled.  However, he also said that he would be a guest at Rebecca Herbst's (Elizabeth) event and they would talk more about it then.

The actor's discussed their charities and Sebastian Roche (Jerry Jacks) spoke about his trip to Africa.

Ignacio Serricchio (ex-Diego) gave a fan a lap dance.  Apparently there was an auction at a Girls Night Out event.  He also sang with his band at the Kick Off and if I am understanding these recaps correctly, so did Rick.  At the GNO event, there were quite a few Night Shift cast members.  Sonya Eddy (Epiphany Johnson) told the fans the writing on Night Shift Season Two is very good. ADONIS 2008 @ Soaphunks.net (Finals Week 3)

Week 3 Finals of the ADONIS 2008 competition at soaphunks.net Voting is currently underway!!

Hey guys, again I come to you inquiring on your mindset regarding the hotties of soap land. Jake Silbermann and Mark Lawson are now out of the competition so it'll be interesting to see who gets the votes from their fans.

It is really starting to look like a competition between people who have either been on or currently are on Days of Our Lives or General Hospital. Their are only 2 left who haven't been on either and both of those (Daniel Goddard and John-Paul Lavosier) have been in the bottom 3. So fans of those two need to step up their game if they want their hottie of choice to remain in the competition.

As for our Days guys they are getting help between all the love scenes and past steam room action. And I have to admit while my heart and votes will forever remain with Shawn Christian, James Scott has been working the scruffy look which really works for him and Jay Kenneth Johnson still has those dimples to contend with. Then there's our ex-Days hotties the dual Shawn Bradys who have now appeared on their respective soaps. Brandon Beemer is showing a new side to him as his new character on Bold and the Beautiful is not on the innocent side at all. I like me some naughty boy so that works.

Speaking of naughty boys, it's debatable now whether Jason Cook's new character on General Hospital is going to end up being a stand up guy or a bit on the shady side. However Steve Burton still maintains his hit man hotness, Jason Thompson also has the dimples on his side, and Greg Vaughan....well come on now it's Greg Vaughan need I say more?

So as always vote in our poll to see how the Daytime Confidential readers are voting and then go over to http://soaphunks.net/vote and vote in the official ballot. It's a ranking system so rank the guys from 1 (your favorite) to 10 (your least favorite). Then leave a comment and come to results chat on Wednesday 10pmEST/7pmPST and see if your comment makes it into the results. It's a good time so ya'll should come join in.

Till next week oogle and enjoy!!

ADONIS 2008 Week 2 Finals Results!!

I'm back with this week's results so here we go!!

Week 2 of the Finals is over and week 3 has begun. But who was voted out and who is still in the running? That's what I'm here to tell ya!!

Soapy once again started the competition by going through each of the guys and reading comments from the viewers. Then he told us who was in the bottom 3 and who were safe this week.

So who were the bottom 3 this week? Again it all came out of the wildcard picks. Mark Lawson (Brody Lovett - One Life to Live), Daniel Goddard (Cane Ashby - Young and the Restless), and John-Paul Lavosier (Rex Balsom - One Life to Live) were the guys who ended up in the hot seat. However Soapy eased one fan bases fears when he sent Daniel Goddard back to safety.

He then did as he always does and stretched out the break between that and announcing who was getting the boot to the point of pulling our hair out. Then he finally broke the news that his very own favorite Mark Lawson had received the least amount of votes and was thus out of the competition. Now in his defense Mr. Lawson is new to the soap scene and managed not to be the first voted out so if he sticks around he should do a lot better in next years competition. But for now Lawson is out but JPL is safe. READ MORE

ADONIS 2008 @ Soaphunks.net (Finals Week 2)

So who are you voting for this week in the ADONIS 2008 finals at Soaphunks.net?

Jake Silbermann is out now and it's almost time to see who's next. As each guy gets eliminated his votes generally get spread out to others. But who will reap the rewards of those votes? That's what this poll will help us figure out. So as always, vote here so we can see how the Daytime Confidential readers are voting, then head over to vote in the real ballot. The rules are the same, you can only vote once, and it is a ranking system. So rank the guys from 1 to 11 with 1 as your first pick and 11 being your last. Then leave a comment and you just might get a shout out in the live results chat. That chat is still at it's regular time Wednesday 10pmEST/7pmPST in the soaphunks.net chat room.

Hope to see ya'll there!!

ADONIS 2008 Week 1 Finals Results!!

Well everyone...once again I apologize for the delay in my blog, but I'm here now with the first finals week's results for  the ADONIS 2008 competition at Soaphunks.net!!

Soapy once again started the chat with reading comments from the voters for each of the guys and letting us know if they were safe or if they were in this week's bottom 3. When all was said and done the bottom three ended up being Jake Silbermann (Noah Mayer - As the World Turns), Daniel Goddard (Cane Ashby - Young and the Restless), and Mark Lawson (Brody Lovett - One Life to Live). There were some Daniel Goddard fans there who were none too happy with this result, however most were not surprised since all three were wildcard pick finalists.

As always Soapy tortured us with a break and then announced which hottie had received the least amount of votes and was thus out of the competition. Fortunately for the Daniel Goddard fans he was announced as safe. Mark Lawson fans were given a reprieve as well as he was announced safe too. A couple of us were a little disappointed that we didn't get our Soapy breakdown he would have had if Lawson had been booted, but were happy for him none the less. But for all the Nuke fans they weren't as lucky as the first guy voted out of the competition was Jake Silbermann. READ MORE

General Hospital: Jason Cook, With or Without A Beard?

When Daytime Confidential Days of Our Live's fan first spotted the spoiler screencap of Jason Cook new character Matt Hunter in Regan's General Hospital Spoilers & Scoop some questioned whether or not the image had been photoshopped in hopes that the beard was a hoax.

On instant messaging Regan asked what the big deal was, to which I responded that Days of Our Lives fans are accustomed to seeing him as the clean shaven man/teen Shawn Brady at that may be coming as quite the shock for some.

Then Nicki posted an earlier picture of Jason Cook in her Adonis 2008 coverage and with to two such different pictures I knew it would make a great poll.

It should be noted that more than likely the beard is probably storyline dictated and won't last more than a month but it does beg the question...

Do you prefer Jason Cook with or without a beard?
