At Eric’s (John McCook) house, Taylor (Hunter Tylo) revealed she feels like she was losing everything. Eric shared he too was struggling for purpose in the aftermath of Stephanie’s (Susan Flannery) death.

Liam (Scott Clifton) tried to convince Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) not to go on her trip, but she knew it was necessary. Of course, her absence will provide an opportunity for Hope (Kim Matula) and Liam to reconnect. Two plus one is three after all. The Bold and the Beautiful’s storylines are so childishly simple; the show should air on PBS after Sesame Street.

Tuesday’s The Bold and the Beautiful kicked off with Rick (Jacob Young) and Caroline (Lindsey Godfrey) in the afterglow of sex, kissing and cuddling. 

Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) was opening mail and Hope (Kim Matula) was telling her how she’ll never stop loving Liam (Scott Clifton). Why is it that anytime someone on a soap is opening mail, I flash back to bill paying and coupon clipping on Guiding Light? It must be some sort of Post Traumatic Ellen Wheeler Disorder.
