Thomas (Adam Gregory) was full of plans for moving Forrester into the future. He called a meeting to outline his vision for the company. However, as a viewer, I just can’t take Thomas seriously as the interim head of Forrester Creations. I don’t know why.

Thomas told the room full of mostly young B&B characters that classic Forrester fashion had become a liability for the younger market. Donna (Jennifer Gareis) asked if the younger market was “really that important.” Thomas pointed out that if young people associated the Forrester brand with their grandparents, it’s a big problem.

Hope Logan's (Kimberly Matula) scheming half-brother Rick (Jacob Young) is busy orchestrating a plot to land himself control of Forrester Creations and the hand of Ms. Caroline Spencer (Linsey Godfrey) on The Bold and the Beautiful. The Bold and the Beautiful showrunner Brad Bell is moving forward with efforts to refocuse the 30-minute series on its younger set. However, that doesn't mean the Hope/Liam/Steffy triangle will remain front and center. In a pair of revealing chats with TV Guide Magazine's Michael Logan and Soap Opera Digest's Devin Owens, Bell talks in depth about what the future of B&B will look like.

Said Bell in the Sept. 3-9 issue of TV Guide regarding Rick Forrester's (Jacob Young) upcoming power grab:

"Rick is a young man sick of sitting on the sidelines who will finally come into his own," says Bell, "He'll become a passionate, sexy, driving force of the show, making a strategic play for Caroline [Linsey Godfrey] and going after Ridge's position as head of Forrester Creations.
