After delicious promos such as "I've Got You Babe" and "I Think I Love You" what could the little cherubs at SOAPnet come up with for another Valentines promo? How about worst pickup lines? Needless to say Greg Vaughan steals the show with his but I won't spoil it for you, so you have to watch.

Maxie saves Lulu's job? I like it when the ladies team up for the greater good but Maxie and Lulu could be one of those great soap rivalries Luke is always talking about. It APPEARS though, that after Carly wins round one at the Crimson Party, Maxie goes to bat for Lulu.... what are they? Friends or Frienemies?

Why is Olivia the stabbing victim? She's lurking while Sasha's on a call. Olivia lurks alot these days. Remember, Patrick gets into the mob activity by taking Olivia to Sonny's and patching her up.

More retaliation? Sonny now needs to avenge Olivia. But it's ok, Jake will be saved before that so it's all good. Go ahead Sonny, make your move against the Russians, you don't need to worry about your best friend's son.

Sam puts herself in more danger. But hey, it's ok, it's all in the name of Frons' reunion plan. Jason forgives all Sam's past transgressions after saving Jake. Adventure gal Sam needs another adrenaline boost and goes looking for more dirt on the Russians. When she learns they're still trying to take out Jason, she hides in a van the Russians are driving. Alexis and Sam will share some scenes coming up.

Okay you knew it was coming. Now that the Idiots In Charge of The-Soap-Opera-Formerly-Known-as-Days-of-Our-Lives have let the phenomenal Blake Berris go, I decided to start out doing a Wishful Casting about where Berris should end up, but it turned into more of an analysis of which soaps are managing to set things up for their next generation the right way, and which ones are getting it wrong, dead wrong.

Much of the daytime industry is experiencing a serious drought in terms of talented, young stars who can actually, you know, act. Save for The Young and the Restless, One Life to Live and General Hospital, the under 30 set at most soaps is pretty much comprised of rejects from the Pamela Anderson School of Acting and Pantomime.  I'll start with the soaps in most need of help and work my way up. RUMORS are gaining steam that Jason and Sam (Steve Burton and Kelly Monaco) are going to be reunited. According to the RUMBLINGS, fans of Jason and Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) can allegedly thank Brian Frons for this change in storyline direction as he is grasping at straws to get a ratings boost. 

I make no attempts to hide where my loyalties lie, so this news has me more than a little upset. Jason and Elizabeth never had a fair chance and once again it's their fans that are paying the price if these RUMORS come to fruition. Sorry Lucky (Greg Vaughn) and Sam fans, this means your couple is over too.

If you are a Liason fan and haven't watched this clip you need to. This may quite possibly be the best Liason (Steve Burton and Rebecca Herbst) fan clip I've seen. It raises the question of why General Hospital doesn't do more to try and bring these two together instead of stringing us, the fans, along.

Is General Hospital gearing up for yet another rape storyline?  Every time I post the possibility of a rape occurring, our Daytime Confidential readers cry out in outrage. Is this an overused storyline, too controversial or are our readers tired of the victimization of women on General Hospital? 

Brace yourselves Sam fans (Kelly Monaco) cause she's the RUMORED victim.  Tied into the counterfeit drug storyline, Sam McCall has gotten in bed with the Russian Mob.  Karpov takes a special interest in Sam, but he's not that interested.  Romantically speaking, Karpov only has eyes for Carly.  It's another employee of Karpov's that finds out that Sam is really working for the good guys and he threatens to expose her unless she sleeps with him.  Sam tries to put Karpov's guy off by flirting her way out of it but he apparently doesn't like to flirt for very long and the RUMORS say he rapes her. 

The storyline that made me fall in love with Lucky (then played by Jonathan Jackson) and Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst)  was Elizabeth's rape.  Much like then, Lucky is RUMORED to help Sam through this.  Will this be a grown up re-do of that famous storyline?  READ MORE
