The Paley Center for Media is hosting General Hospital: Celebrating 50 Years and Looking Forward this Friday, April 12. The panel hosted by TV Guide Magazine’s William Keck, will feature GH head writer Ron Carlivati and executive producer Frank Valentini along side actors, Maurice Benard, Jane Elliot, Genie Francis, Anthony Geary, Finola Hughes, Kimberly McCullough, Kelly Monaco, Kirsten Storms, Jason Thompson, Kristina Wagner, Laura Wright, and Jackie Zeman.

Keeping with the momentum of General Hospital’s 50th anniversary, soap legend Genie Francis spoke with PARADE Magazine to discuss her time on the iconic soap. Francis revealed:
"My favorite storyline ever, I would have to say is the first summer on the run."

Set your DVR reminders for Saturday, April 6, General Hospital fans. That evening at 9 pm EST, Katie Couric will be hosting a special edition of newsmagazine 20/20 entitled: General Hospital – The Real Soap Dish.
