Deadline is reporting, Days of Our Lives hunk Eric Winter has been signed on as the male lead in Scent of The Missing. Based on the book by Susannah Charleson, the show's plot revolves around Susannah (Tricia Helfer), a tough as nails K-9 search and rescue volunteer. Susannah works side-by-side with her equally no nonsense, but sneaky partner, Puzzle, a golden retriever. According to Deadline, Winter will play Jake, who is part of the search and rescue team. He is partnered up with Shadow, his dog.

Former Brothers & Sisters and Days of Our Lives star Eric Winter has joined ABC’s Good Christian Belles in a recurring role, according to Deadline.  Reportedly, he will play Luke, the black sheep brother of Kristin Chenoweth’s Carlene Cockburn. The character will also be a possible love interest for Amanda, portrayed by Popular grad and Iron Man 2 star Leslie Bibb.
