The promise of a fat promotion—if and when Victor (Eric Braeden) resumes control of Newman Enterprises—has Mason Wilder (Lamon Archey) contemplating the unthinkable on The Young and the Restless. Is this young man really so ambitious, he would actively help Victor destroy Sharon's (Sharon Case) sanity?
A quick look at Archey's Twitter profile reveals the handsome actor may already be catching hell online for his alter ego's misdeeds. Tweeted Archey:
Watch out, Nicholas Newman (Joshua Morrow); you're horny, old toad of a daddy will be hopping to talk to your latest blonde bombshell today on The Young and the Restless! Luckily for Avery (Jessica Collins), Victor (Eric Braeden) says he only wants to chat about her charitable foundation for the wrongly accused. Yeah, like he only wanted to transform Sharon (Sharon Case) into a strong, independent woman!
This reeks of that no-good Congressman Wheeler's (Mark Pinter) handiwork. Watch a sneak peek from Y&R below!
Jack (Peter Bergman) told Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) and Adam (Michael Muhney) he planned to call Michael (Christian LeBlanc) and confess for the hooker’s death. Adam and Phyllis tried to convince Jack that Victor (Eric Braeden) didn’t know the truth. Jack said Victor wouldn’t have to tell the police; he’d just have to spread rumors. Jack was done with the lies, and there would be no more cover up. READ MORE
Jack’s (Peter Bergman) battle with prescription drugs isn’t the only war he’s facing on The Young and the Restless this week. Victor’s (Eric Braeden) ever-present threat to Ole' Smilin' Jack's control of Newman and Jabot looms. Can Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) get her ex-husband to face how much danger his empire is in?
Meanwhile, Tyler (Redaric Williams) entices Lily (Christel Khalil), as Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Avery’s (Jessica Collins) romance remains front and center. Watch this week’s The Young and the Restless promo after the jump!
Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) took Victor (Eric Braeden) to task for his plan to use Jack’s (Peter Bergman) addiction to regain control of Newman Enterprises.
Later, Adam (Michael Muhney) found Victor and revealed to his dear old daddy what had happened with the dead prostitute. Adam and Victor quickly started conspiring against Jack, or at least that’s what Adam wanted Victor to think. Adam said he can’t afford a scandal as CEO. Victor, seeing a way to get around Nikki, told his son to go to the press. After Adam left Victor, he received a call from Jack. Adam told Jack he’d needed to find out what Victor knew. READ MORE
After Billy (Billy Miller) left, Adam (Michael Muhney) ranted about his new task of having to take out Billy at Newman Enterprises. Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) immediately told him she’d had enough, and demanded to know when they’d be able to separate him from the hustle and bustle of Genoa City.
At Villy’s house, Billy and Victoria (Amelia Heinle) discussed how they were going to save Newman from Adam, and return control of Newman and Jabot to Victor (Eric Braeden) and Jack (Peter Bergman) respectively. Their discussion quickly revealed lingering trust issues on both sides of the fence. READ MORE
