Last year Elizabeth Hubbard appeared on the Dutch soap Goede Tijden, Slechte Tijden (Good Times, Bad Times) for a guest stint. Even though her character Sair Poindexter is American, Elizabeth still wanted to learn some Dutch for this role. In the video after the jump you can see her learning the language with a teacher. Elizabeth Hubbard left the Dutch soap opera Goede Tijden, Slechte Tijden (Good Times, Bad Times) for a second time on Friday, December 25. Earlier this year she wrapped up a guest stint of two weeks. Fan reaction to that first stint was very positive so Elizabeth returned to the show as Sair Poindexter on Friday, November 27. Maybe she can visit her Dutch soap family more often in the future now that As the World Turns is going off the air in September. Watch all of Elizabeth’s scenes from her second guest stint after jump. READ MORE
The awful news about the cancellation of As The World Turns also reached the Netherlands this week. The Netherlands is one of the few countries where the show airs and in the 20 years on the air it has always been a success. It has even earned higher ratings than The Bold and the Beautiful. In the Netherlands episodes from June 2008 are airing right now which means that the last episode will air in 2012.
Entertainment show RTL Boulevard talked about the cancellation on Wednesday's episode of their show. You can watch that clip (with English subtitles) after the jump. READ MORE

Elizabeth Hubbard’s last episode as Sair Poindexter on the Dutch soap opera Goede Tijden, Slechte Tijden (Good Times, Bad Times) aired on Friday. I’ve really enjoyed this short story arc. Making her character Sair related to one of the main families on the show was a great idea. Elizabeth’s scenes with Anita Donk, who plays her daughter Irene, have been amazing. Both the show and Elizabeth are open to more visits in the future. Watch the complete story arc after the jump. READ MORE
