Looks like someone has been blasting Drake's I'm Goin' In. The View's Elisabeth Hasselbeck slammed comedienne Kathy Griffin for her remarks regarding Sen. Scott Brown's (R-MA) daughters. Griffin made a joke on her Bravo reality series, My Life On The D- List, regarding Brown's daughters being prostitutes. During the ABC gabfest's hot topics segment, the ladies weighed in on if the joke was appropriate or not. Both Hasselbeck and her co-host Whoopi Goldberg agreed Griffin's joke was one done in poor taste while Joy Behar and Sherri Shepherd had different takes on the situation. That didn't stop there for Hasselbeck. Watch the entire debate and Griffin's joke after the jump. READ MORE
I would love to hear what body language experts would make of Elisabeth Hasselbeck's posturing in the presence of comedienne Kathy Griffin, Tuesday on The View. Griffin appeared on the gabfest to dish the news season of her hit Bravo series, Kathy Griffin: My Life of the D-List.
Hasselbeck, who Griffin has skewered relentless in her comedy, confronted the funny lady about her "untrue" "not funny" jokes. Poor guest co-host Kassie DePaiva, from The View's studio mate One Life to Live, was caught in the middle of this Made-for-TV trainwreck. She's probably used to it, the way those Cramer women cut up. De Paiva no doubt felt like she was on the La Boulaie set!
How much do you wanna bet this little coffee klatch, cat scratch session will make its way into the D-lister's act and series this season? Kathy Griffin: My Life of the D-List premiered Tuesday night on Bravo. Check your local listings, but before you do, watch the clip of Griffin and Hasselbeck's skirmish after the jump!
It seems like ABC's making a bit of a peace offering to Adam Lambert. The controversial rocker is slated to make his first guest appearance on The View. This comes on the heels of the singer's much talked about performance on the America Music Awards and after Lambert was dropped from ABC's Good Morning America, Jimmy Kimmel Live and Dick Clark's Rockin' New Years Eve show.
Lambert's appearance on the gab fest is slated on Dec. 10 right after his interview on Barbara Walters' 10 Most Fascinating People of 2009 on Dec. 9 at 10pm EST.
A federal judge has dismissed a plagiarism lawsuit by a Massachusetts writer against Elisabeth Hasselbeck of The View, according to an article at Boston Herald.com. Susan Hassett filed the suit in June stating that parts of her book were in Hasselbeck's The G-Free Diet: A Gluten-Free Survival Guide. READ MORE
Keeping Up With The Kardashians star Khloe Kardashian heads to The View on Friday for her co-hosting debut. This comes on the heels of the reality tv star's marriage to L.A. Laker star Lamar Odom on Sept. 27. Known as the "tough Kardashian," Khloe will have to put up or shut up with the no-nonsense chicas on the ABC chat-fest.
In an interview with The Los Angeles Times, The View host Sherri Shepherd talks about how co-host Elisabeth Hasselbeck deals with getting dumped on.
Truth: Does Elisabeth Hasselbeck get a bad rap? She does, but I always tell people she's a tough little cookie. Elisabeth does not want your pity. The thing is, nobody's trying to change anybody else's minds. When the arguing starts, I just kind of lean back. This Republican-versus-Democrat discussion has been going on for years before I got there, and I'm not trying to bring nothing new to it.
