Barbara Walters Asks Elisabeth Hasslebeck if She Likes Rough Sex on The View

The topic of sex came up on Monday’s episode of The View. Barbara Walters provided viewers with another “Astroglide” moment, much to the chagrin of Elisabeth Hasselbeck. During a discussion of modern women, “mommy porn” books like Fifty Shades of Grey and the new HBO series Girls, Walters pressed Hasselbeck  vigorously about if she liked rough sex with her husband (Tim Hasselbeck).

The topic was punctuated by Whoopi Goldberg’s horrified facial expressions. Hasselbeck never actually answered Walters' question. Watch the clip after the jump! READ MORE

Donny Deutsch on Star Jones' Return to The View: "They Ambushed Her Yesterday"

Not everyone believes The View has let bygones be bygones with Star Jones and her departure from the popular talk show. On The Today Show's "Today's Professionals" panel, where Jones is a regular, colleague Donny Deutsch brought up her appearance on the ABC chatfest and threw shade. Deutsch remarked,
They ambushed her yesterday. I've always been a big fan of Barbara's [Walters], I see her around town and I love her. It was cruel what her and Joy [Behar].. I felt like watching the mean girls in the seventh-grade cafeteria take on a vulnerable girl.
Hmm... Meanwhile, Walters and The View co-hosts kept mum about Jones' return and what Deutsch had to say. Watch the segment and Deutsch proclaiming the legal eagle is owed an apology after the jump! READ MORE

Bill Maher And Elisabeth Hasselbeck Clash on The View

Fasten your seatbelts for a bumpy showdown! Bill Maher paid a visit to the ladies of The View. Co-host Elisabeth Hasselbeck is still smarting from a joke the Real Time host made in Feb. At the time Maher cracked Hasselbeck should be sent to Egypt, in exchange for CBS correspondent Lara Logan, who also was sexually assaulted during the Egyptian revolution. Maher made the joke before CBS released a statement, informing the world about Logan's assault.

Hasselbeck let it be known she did not find his joke funny, while Maher tried to explain he wasn't trying to personally attack her. Watch the fireworks between the two after the jump! READ MORE

The View Wants to Hold a Daytime Republican Debate

The ladies of The View have grilled politicians on their couch, argued the latest hot topics at their table and now they want to host a Republican presidential debate. According to The Huffington Post, “A spokesman for "The View" confirmed that requests have been sent to Republican campaigns but declined to speak further about any interest so far.”

Just how would a Republican debate on The View work? Would Barbara Walters be the moderator? Would Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Elisabeth Hasselbeck and Sherri Shepherd participate? If they did, candidates would surely prepare themselves for hostile questioning from Goldberg and Behar. Hasselbeck, The View’s conservative voice on the panel, would probably feel at home at such a debate, but who would have guessed the one-time Survivor competitor might one day be involved in a Republican presidential debate? Do you believe Republican candidates will agree to debate on The View?

Elisabeth Hasselbeck Goes From Battling Michael Moore to Finding 'Angels Among Us'

Thanks to Elisabeth Hasselbeck’s confrontation with Michael Moore over Osama bin Laden, it hasn’t taken long for the new season of The View to grab headlines.
