Get ready for another season of drama, romance and comedy with featuring those Georgia peaches. No, not the ones from Bravo's Real Housewives of Atlanta! VH1 has given the okay for a third season of ratings darling Single Ladies. In a released statement, EVP of original programming and production's Jeff Olde stated:
Our viewers’ love affair with ‘Single Ladies’ got even bigger this year, growing significantly from its successful first season and dominating its timeslot on basic cable. We’re extremely happy that we’ll be able to give the audience another great season of the series and its honest, current take on love, dating and female friendship.
La diva is BACK! The Young and the Restless fan favorite Victoria Rowell makes her debut on VH1's smash hit Single Ladies tonight. Rowell appears as Veronica, an ex-girlfriend of Sean's (One Life To Live's Terrell Tilford).
Soaps in Depth caught up with former All My Children star Denise Vasi, who previewed the upcoming season of VH1’s Single Ladies and her new character Raquel.
"Raquel comes from a very well-to-do family, she's very well traveled, has spent time doing charity work, and she's gone to some of the best schools and really worked hard at making a name for herself."

Another ex-ABC soaper makes good! Deadline is reporting All My Children's Denise Vasi has been tapped for the lead role in VH1's sexy, fun dramedy Single Ladies. Vasi's new character Raquel will fill the void left by Val (Stacey Dash).
Considering how harsh we've been here at Daytime Confidential about Vasi's acting chops as displayed on AMC, I'm sure some of you are expecting this to begin the portion of the blog post where I start freaking out about her joining one of my guilty pleasure sudsers, but nah.
