Constance Towers

General Hospital Spoilers!

Here’s the Scoop! 03.05.09

We’re going to make today a Q & A day. Tomorrow will be an off day unless my new internet is hooked up early enough to blog. Ask away and I’ll answer what I can.

So Luke loves the Cassadines and he always calls for a resurgence of all things Cassadine and to most that means their evil ways. Nikolas is always seen as the good Cassadine and I’m still trying to figure out what kind of Cassadine Alexis is supposed to be. They seem to forget that Sam is a Cassadine which sucks for the Sam fans but is ok by me. Apparently a RUMOR is out there that the ultimate Cassadine is returning. Helena! This RUMOR say Constance Towers MAY be returning in April. Why the return? I’m not sure but ever since Natalia Livingston returned as Rebecca and not as fan favorite Emily Quartermaine fans have been clamoring for Rebecca Shaw to really be Emily and have said Helena should be involved in the fake death. Word of Caution… the Helena RUMORS supposedly are coming from SID and while it’s a great mag sometimes their RUMORS are more miscommunication than actual facts. READ MORE

Constance Towers: Stepping Out

September 22, 2008, Burbank, CA – The Falcon Theatre presents Richard Alfieri’s Six Dance Lessons in Six Weeks, the second production in its 2008-2009 “Bringin’ the FUNNY" All-Comedy subscription season. Constance Towers, star of Broadway and the popular soap opera General Hospital, and Jason Graae, award-winning musical theater and TV actor, star in this revival of the Broadway and international hit play, directed again by Arthur Allan Seidelman and choreographed by Kay Cole.

It’s hate at first sight when Lily (Constance Towers), a formidable retired woman, hires Michael (Jason Graae), an acerbic ex-Broadway chorus boy, to give her private dance lessons in her Florida condo. As Michael teaches Lily to dance, they both learn some unexpected lessons in life. Part comedy, part drama, part cha-cha-cha.

As the World Turns: Anthony Hererra Returns!

We Love Soaps is reporting that Anthony Hererra is returning to As the World Turns as the dastardly James Stenbeck. He will first appear on August 27.

Personally, I cannot wait. For me James Stenbeck is right up there with Constance Towers' Helena Cassadine and Joe Mascolo's Stefano DiMera. I never watched any of the Roger Thorpe era so for me these three my favorite daytime villains.

I've posted a classic James Stenbeck and Lucinda Walsh clip below for everyone to enjoy. It really doesn't get much better than watching these two actors together.

General Hospital: Dare To Dream!

Currently, the head of the Karpov Russian Mob family is making his rounds in Port Charles. Lately, I have a lot of time on my hands and I got to thinking how cool would it would be if Helena Cassadine was the reason the new mob family was in town? Yes, Regan I know your shaking your head at me but here are a few possibilities.

Helena's step-granddaughter, Sam McCall has gotten herself a job working for Karpov who stumbles upon information regarding the faux drugs are being funded by a 'silent' company owned by the Cassadines. Sam goes to her cousin, Nikolas and who starts an investigation with his brother Lucky and find Helena is behind the whole thing!!!!!! Nikolas devises a plan to bring back granny to town and bring charges against her only to have her blackmail Nikolas into dropping the charges or she will tell Sonny and Jason that he has known for a long time who shot Michael.

Also, we can go the Luke route, who sends a message to Cowboy that he met a man working on some ships that are smuggling fake drugs into Port Charles from Russia. Now Luke being the non-law abiding citizen he is asks Lucky to keep this on the downlow because he is trying to get in on the action in order to buy out the Zacchara's from the Haunted Star and as a way to sweeten the pot, tell his son he will try and get Lulu away from Johnny once he returns to town. Although we all know Luke would renig on second that part! READ MORE
