Lord, this is all I need to get my Good Friday off to a bad start. Once again, The Young and the Restless co-head writer and Netflix's most valued customer Scott Hamner is using freaking MOVIES to explain the show's bad storytelling! Here's what he told CBS Soaps In Depth about Lane's (Christel Khalil and Daniel Goodard) May Sweeps "Ghost" story:
"We're going to learn this story in pieces. It's going to lead to a crescendo that's going to be spectacular. Think War Of The Roses meets North By Northwest."
Daniel Goddard is Still on Contract at Y&R!

Good news for fans of The Young and the Restless’ Daniel Goddard, his character Cane Ashby and the current Cane and Lily (Christel Khalil) storyline. According to CBS Soaps in Depth, the Goddard remains on contract and isn’t going anywhere.
Soaps In Depth hears that -- due in part to the fan support he's received since Cane was killed off -- Goddard is definitely not leaving the show, and will continue to appear beyond just figments of Lily's imagination!

The Young and the Restless hunk Daniel Goddard must have thought he was back on the jungle set of BeastMaster, thanks to an upcoming plot twist for Lily (Christel Khalil) and has character Cane, which left him a bit drenched. He is excited about the upcoming story where a tornado hits, saying, "Cane and Lily end up at the cottage with the kids, and the storm hits, and we had rain machines and wind machines - I spent two days soaking wet. Looks like art isn't imitating life in terms of Lily Winters' fertility woes on The Young and the Restless. The actress who plays Lily, Christel Khalil and her musician husband, Stephen Hensley are expecting a baby boy. The couple's bundle of joy is slated to make his debut in April. According to Hensley on Twitter,
How does everyone know that I have a baby BOY on the way! It's true and he's gonna be a special child of God! Another prophet will b born!
