A Storm Hits Grey’s Anatomy!

Grey’s Anatomy ends the season on another heart pounding note when a super-storm hits Seattle and Grey – Sloan Memorial Hospital.  Will Mer (Ellen Pompeo) and Der’s (Patrick Dempsey) baby weather the storm?  Are we losing yet another cast member?

Chandra Wilson (Dr. Miranda Bailey) tells EW.com,

I can say that we have a huge super-storm that’s headed to Seattle and you can take that in however many ways you want to take it,” Chandra Wilson reveals about the season ender. “So because of that, the hospital is in crisis mode — because that’s what we like to do.” READ MORE

Booty Call Bailey vs. Medusa: Who’s Scarier on Grey’s Anatomy?

Grey’s Anatomy returned last night and picked up with our favorite doctors lives post the plane crash that claimed Lexie Grey (Chyler Leigh). Though a sad episode (Bye, McSteamy!), “Going Going Gone” also had its humorous moments, particularly Bailey’s (Chandra Wilson) reaction to the new nickname the interns christened her with — "Booty Call Bailey."

Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) seems to have taken over as the most feared doctor at Seattle Grace. She’s been dubbed "Medusa" by the first years.

Who do you think is scarier, Booty Call Bailey or Medusa on Grey’s Anatomy?

General Hospital's Missed Opportunity

In a recent Daytime Confidential Podcast I suggested that it be great cross promotion opportunity for General Hospital to have admitted soap fan and Grey's Anatomy star Chandra Wilson drop by Port Charles as a patient at General Hospital. My theory was that there is guest spot gold waiting to be mined by having Wilson portray her primetime character as a patient in the Port Charles emergency room.

Turns out I'm not the only one who thought having her guest on General Hospital could be a good idea. TV Guide Canada's Nelson Branco is reporting that "she almost took a guest-starring role on GH during the Writers’ Strike."

Personally, I think having Wilson drop by General Hospital should still be an option on the table, even if it has to wait until the week after Grey's Anatomy's seaon finale in May and then promoting the hell out of during the season finale.
