This is certainly one I didn't see coming. General Hospital has left not-so-subtle clues, to remind fans that something happened to Michael (Chad Duell) behind those prison bars. We've been questioning all along, are they ever going to reveal whether Michael was raped or not? In the latest SPOILER news and storyline twist, Soap Opera Network has some juicy scoop.

Apparently, Sam McCall's (Kelly Monaco) pimp hand is pretty strong as she hires a hooker to ease Michael's sexual fears. Candy (Andrea Bogart)— a lady of the evening Sam met while undercover as a stripper— is hired to "help" Michael get past what happened. Personally, I'm thinking an appointment with a shrink would be better, but hey, that's just me. Unfortunately  for Sam, her plan backfires. As we've seen before, Michael has a bad reaction to the bad girl when Michael turns "violent" with Candy-girl.

This shocking episode airs Oct. 5.

Sonny has to stay away from Michael! When Michael is released - I already mentioned he’s released to Dante - but he won’t be able to see his Dad and if he does, it’s back to Pentonville. How long does he have to stay away from Sonny? What’s left of his sentence! That’s like two years! Uh, yeah, that’s not going to happen. Will Michael feel guilty about leaving Jason behind? You bet he will.

Remember I told you Claire wants Jason’s help with investigating Franco… he agrees to help the Prosecutor. What about his pesky little murder charge? Carter is dead by the end of this week and Jason is the one holding the knife that kills him. How will he beat this one? The warden wants to put Jason in solitary, separating him from Michael. In an interview with TV Guide's Michael Logan, General Hospital head writer Bob Guza spoke about the storyline that ABC has been tight lipped about. Was Michael (Chad Duell) raped or not?

TVGuide.com: Why the veil of secrecy over this story line? Has Michael been raped or not?

Guza: I have never confirmed that he was and I'm not about to. Our focus right now is on the horrific experience of an 18- or 19-year-old who is thrown into a terrible situation like this. I just didn't want to make the story more specific at this point. However, that's not to say that I won't be getting very specific in three or four or five months down the line. This situation is going to rear its ugly head in a big way and Michael is going to have to deal with it. This is a story that needs to be parceled out.

Guza also confirms that Michael's stay in Pentonville is not for much longer and that his release comes "in a very interesting way." Are fans ready for the rollercoaster ride of "Was he?" or "Wasn't he?"

“He’s the reason I’m doing what I’m doing,” Chad tells Crushable during a break between filming scenes on the ABC soap opera. And if he had to work with anyone in the business, “It would be him.”
 

The actor also gives his take on how he views his alter ego, Michael.

"He’s a tough kid,” says Chad. “He doesn’t want to be in the mob. If you’re ever a kid .. . in jail with scary people around you, you’re gonna be a freaked-out shell of a kid. … I like showing more sides to him. I want (to show) his heart more than his anger. I don’t want him to be one way.”

What a day on GH, but am I eating my words? I know everyone else is giving Chad Duell (Michael Corinthos III) the requisite thirty days before they make their judgments; I’m apparently not that nice. I said I would give him some time and I readily admitted that I hoped to eat my words. I even fired up the DVR yesterday after my required time in the yard and despite my new trend of online soap watching to see if Mr. Duell did in fact make me eat my words. So did he?
