Blake Berris on DAYS Return: "It Felt a Little Like Déjà Vu"
By Jamey Giddens on May 23, 2012
One of my favorite, young adult Days of Our Lives characters is officially on his way back to Salem! Blake Berris revealed to Soap Opera Digest what it's been like reprising the role of Horton grandson Nick Fallon. Said the budding film actor:
"I got to do some scenes right off the bat with Kristian [Alfonso, Hope], who I love. It was pretty easy to slip to back into the crazy rhythm of things at DAYS. It felt a little like déjà vu."
Blake Berris Starrer House of Last Things to Screen at Champs-Elysees Film Festival!
By Jamey Giddens on May 20, 2012
Soon-to-be-returning Days of Our Lives actor Blake Berris (Nick Fallon) has yet another new flick that has the film industry talking. House of Last Things, a thriller from award-winning writer/director Michael Bartlett, has been selected among only four U.S. indie films to screen at the inaugural Champs-Elysees Film Festival this June in Paris, reports The Hollywood Reporter.
Berris portrays Jesse in the thriller, which tells parallel, supernatural stories about a group of young adult house sitters and the home's owners, who are vacationing in Italy. This is the second film starring Berris to generate heat in recent months. As previously reported, the insanely-talented actor is also featured in the gritty drama Meth Head. By Jamey Giddens on May 10, 2012

This news will definitely have me cutting Days of Our Lives new regime some slack, if it proves true! Soap Opera Digest is reporting one of the best younger male actors to appear on DAYS in decades, Blake Berris, could soon be reprising the role of Horton great-grandson Nick Fallon! READ MORE
Check Out Days of Our Lives' Blake Berris, Lukas Haas and Wilson Cruz in Gritty 'Meth Head' Trailer!
By Jamey Giddens on March 05, 2012
Former Days of Our Lives scene stealer Blake Berris (ex-Nick Fallon) is generating a lot of buzz for his gritty turn as Dusty, a seductive druggie who turns Luckas Haas' lead character Kyle onto crystal meth in the indie flick Meth Head. The film, from first time writer/director Jane Clark, centers on Kyle, a mild-mannered accountant, who turns to drugs to deal with the self-loathing he feels over being in a dead end job, having a lover (Wison Cruz) who's more successful than he is and a father who doesn't accept him. DC Exclusive: Ex-DAYS Star Blake Berris on How His Emmy Nod Made Him Burn Breakfast
By Jamey Giddens on May 15, 2009
Of all the head-scratching 2009 Daytime Emmy nominations, I was glad to see the Academy got a few nods right. Two of those were former Days of Our Lives breakout stars Blake Berris (ex-Nick) and his real life pal Rachel Melvin (ex-Chelsea), who were nominated in the Best Younger Male Lead and Best Younger Female Lead categories respectively. From his very first air show, I knew the immensely-talented, theater-vetted Berris would stand out in Salem.
Melvin managed the unthinkable during her time on DAYS. She made me to finally forgive her character for mowing down the child of my favorite couple ever. Melvin infused Chelsea, a character that could have been a token, one-note, prototypical DAYS villainess, with tons of heart. I really don't even remember when it happened but before I knew it, I had stopped loathing Chelsea, and came to see her as a viable, bonafide heroine, and that is to Melvin's credit. I caught up with Berris who shared with Daytime Confidential how he learned of his nomination from Melvin, and how it caused him to wreck a meal. READ MORE
