*Oda Mae Brown Voice* Melissa Claire Egan, you in danger girl! Entertainment Weekly is reporting the All My Children star has landed a contract role with The Young and the Restless. Egan will play Chelsea, a woman who is also linked to Billy's (Billy Miller) arrest in Myanmar. Egan's first episode is slated for Nov. 11. 

Michelle Stafford is a busy woman these days. When her alter ego Phyllis isn't spicing things up in Genoa City on The Young and The Restless, the actress will be taking a trip over to The Ringer. According to TV Guide's  Michael Logan, Stafford will mix it up with Sarah Michelle Gellar's Bridget, who has taken over her twin sister Siobhan's life. According to Stafford:

My character is really nosy and very much in your face — one of those me, me, me types who talks a mile a minute. She runs into Siobhan, who is really Bridget, and has no idea why Siobhan doesn't recognize her. They have this very fun encounter in an elevator. Then my character sees 'Siobhan' going into a meeting with a divorce attorney and can't wait to tell her husband. READ MORE

 

As if we didn't already have incentive enough to watch The CW's upcoming sudser Ringer. Not only are Sarah Michelle Gellar in the titular role, er roles and Gellar's fellow All My Children alum Justin Brueing playing her love interest, now comes news of one of the best actors currently in daytime joining the cast. How's this for a perfect start to Daytime Emmy weekend? CBS Soaps in Depth tweeted in the wee hours of the morning that one of our fav-or-ite soapers—and one of the nominees for Outstanding Supporting Actor (he won in 2010)— Billy Miller has renewed his contract with The Young and the Restless!

According to SID, the dude Daytime Confidential's Jillian Bowe christened "Killer Miller" because of his penchant for MURDERING every scene (in an oh-so-good way), signed on for another year of bringing us the sexy, rowdy, passionate Billy Abbott. Man it feels good to write a positve post about Y&R!
