Page Six is reporting that former General Hospital star Amber Tamblyn and former Arrested Development star David Cross may be something of an item. Apparently they were seen making out at the after party for Morgan Spurlock's new film Where in the World Is Osama bin Laden?. You know, maybe the Soily pairing wasn't such a stretch of the imagination after all.

Allegedly, Amber Tamblyn, America Ferrera, Blake Lively and Alexis Bledel signed on to the original movie and there was a clause that committed them to do a sequel. No one expected the original movie to become a cult hit and make as much money as it did. Then America Ferrera hit the big time with Ugly Betty and won a bunch of awards and the studios decided to cash in. Of course it didn't hurt that Blake Lively became a pop culture sensation on Gossip Girl. Supposedly several of the stars didn't want to do the sequel but their original contract forced them to.

Amber Tamblyn's "Spiral" Update

Big shout out to Matt and Beth for helping me clear up the Amber Tamblyn "Spiral" mystery. When I looked up the movie I swear on IMDB it said it came out in 2007 but the previews made it look like it hadn't yet come out in theaters. Well thanks to Matt and Beth's research they were able to uncover that "Spiral" will be in Limited Release on February 8th and in an intriguing twist is coming to DVD on February 19th. So if you are an Amber Tamblyn fan you should be able to get her latest movie on DVD at your local BlockBuster very soon.

Amber Tamblyn in "Spiral"
By Luke Kerr on February 01, 2008Can someone help me out on this one please. I was reading another blog and they were talking about Amber Tamblyn's movie "Spiral". I was like "cool, I'll check that out and see if its something I'd watch". Well I checked out the trailer and even though it's not my kind of movie I went looking for a premier date. However, the info I found said that it premiered in 2007. I'm not sure how I missed a movie premier being on the Movie Junkie podcast but I hadn't heard of it until today. Has anyone watched this movie? If so, did you enjoy it? The trailer looks like it could be a thrill ride.
