Former General Hospital star Amber Tamblyn is a busy lady these days. According to Deadline, the actress has landed a role in the ensemble relationship drama X/Y. Reportedly, the role will reunite Tamblyn with her Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants co-star America Ferrera.
The film also stars Common, Melonie Diaz, Jon Paul Phillips, Dree Hemingway, Ann Dowd, Adap Rapp, Maria Dizzia and David Harbour. From the article:

Former General Hospital fan favorite Amber Tamblyn has netted a plum role in an upcoming CBS pilot. Deadline is reporting Tamblyn will play the female lead in CBS’ Anatomy of Violence, starring Skeet Ulrich.
The show is based on the nonfiction books of the same name by Adrian Raine, and will revolve around a hotshot FBI criminal psychiatrist with skills in profiling sociopaths. Raine (Ulrich) will team up with Abby (Tamblyn), a young FBI agent who has a complicated past with Raine. Abby joins the FBI after a gunman terrorized her sister 13 years ago.
