George Lucas Awaits Technology Advancement For Star Wars TV Series

Technology needs to catch up with George Lucas. According to the New York Post, the mind behind Star Wars has 50 hours–two seasons worth–of scripts ready and waiting to be turned into a live-action TV series. The only problem is, at least according to Lucas, he doesn’t have the technology he needs to pull it off.
But the series is awaiting the development of "a different type of technology we can use so it's economically feasible to shoot the shows."
He did not say what the breakthrough would do, only that it was "just a very, very difficult process."

Star Wars: The Complete Saga Available on Blue-ray September 27!

Cue the Star Wars theme song, a legion of stormtroopers marching in unison, the clash of lightsabers and the inevitable “Luke, I am your father”, because this announcement deserves it! Star Wars, the groundbreaking George Lucas franchise, will be available on Blu-ray September 27 as Star Wars: The Complete Saga, according to The HD Room.

Hayden Christensen Takes USA Network To Court Over Royal Pains

The brothers claim that they had a meeting with USA's vice president of scripted programming, Alex Pepiol, and gave him information on characters and show ideas. They say that they wanted to name the show Housecall.
It was understood that Plaintiffs were pitching those ideas with the object of persuading USA Network to purchase those ideas for commercial development, and/or to employ Plaintiffs in the production of those ideas. The Christensens allege they weren't advised of USA creating a similar show.

I've been really busy the last few days and have had to play catch up with As the World Turns, but now that the DVR has practically melted down I'm still enjoying what I'm seeing overall...
THE STAR WARS SAGA CONTINUES:
Darth Vader/Darth Sidous (James Stenbeck) continued to woo weak-willed, emotionally confused and immature Anakin Skywalker (Paul Ryan) to the dark side by twisting psychological daggers in Anakin's/Paul's back. As I've said before, this isn't a new development, but rather a direct nod to ATWT's history of James' attempts to turn Paul to "the dark side." READ MORE
