James Franco Returns To General Hospital

.
Franco-mania commences in the new year. According to TV Guide's Michael Logan, James Franco will reprise his role on General Hospital in 2011. The actor will head to Port Charles the day before his hosting duties at the Oscars, Feb 27 and will continue the day after. Franco will stick around GH a bit longer later on in the year. Showrunner Jill Farren Phelps stated:
When we realized James would be in L.A. for the Oscars and all the other awards shows, we asked if he'd consider coming back and doing a little something for us," Phelps says. "He was happy to do it and requested that we use the appearance to plug his next story. He's also expressed an interest in directing at GH. He's been really, really good to us. Whatever James wants, we'd love to make it happen!"

Amber Tamblyn Checks Into House Tonight

Confession time. It’s been awhile since I've watched Fox’s House. It is one of those shows I enjoy  when I have a chance to catch it, but I rarely go out of my way to tune in. In an interview with Zap2it, Tamblyn previews her character.

"She's incredibly smart. Annoyingly smart. Exhaustingly smart. It's kind of a social handicap and of course House loves that -- she's 10 to 20 years younger than all of the other people on his team and she sort of puts it to them," Tamblyn explains. "No one on the team is particularly attracted to her, they're kind of annoyed by her. Her way of communication is very special. She's kind of the little sister they all tease." READ MORE
