The Weinstein Company has released a trailer for Lee Daniels’ highly-anticipated film, The Butler. The period piece centers on the real-life story of Eugene Allen, who served as the White House butler for eight presidents from 1952-1986. Forest Whitaker takes on the title role, with daytime talk show maven Oprah Winfrey as his wife.
This marks Winfrey’s first appearance on the silver screen since starring in Beloved 15 years ago. Watch the trailer after the jump!
Fitz Deals With the Ghosts of His Past and Forgives Liv on ABC's Scandal

Before this week’s Scandal recap, I have to comment on the episode’s title, “Molly, You in Danger, Girl.” If you’ve lived through the ‘90s, you know this is a reference to the movie Ghost, which starred President Fitz himself, Tony Goldwyn! The first and second time I read the title, I LOLed. Basically, I think it’s the best episode title ever, and I hope we get more cheeky Ghost references in Scandal!
This episode was a fantastic outing, and so much happened. There were enough reveals to last half a dozen eps, and “Molly, You in Danger, Girl” could have easily served as a season finale. Amber Tamblyn Signs on For 'X/Y'

Former General Hospital star Amber Tamblyn is a busy lady these days. According to Deadline, the actress has landed a role in the ensemble relationship drama X/Y. Reportedly, the role will reunite Tamblyn with her Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants co-star America Ferrera.
The film also stars Common, Melonie Diaz, Jon Paul Phillips, Dree Hemingway, Ann Dowd, Adap Rapp, Maria Dizzia and David Harbour. From the article:
She’ll play Stacey, a close friend of Silvia (Ferrera) and Mark (Williams) and partner to Tessa (Sue Jean Kim), who has her own demons to battle following her mother’s death.
