Nielsen Expands TV Viewing Ratings

Word on the street according to published reports the infamous Nielsen Ratings is expanding their measurement system (by popular demand from industry insiders) to measure online media. iPhad and Xboxs will now be measured.

Nielsen should had done this 3 years ago! I read on EW a few months ago that Y&R usually gets close to million or better then million views on CBS.com a week which all soaps should have these views figured into their ratings...somehow
@harlee: Yes this would be good to add ratings category for web views. The only thing they can't do or maybe they can is the first time it loads from an ip address. Because they generally measure in views on the web verses individual views like on TV.
Yes, but man that's means all soaps are getting so many more views which could show that times have changed and people are still watching their soaps via a different way nowdays.
This doesn't mean a thing. It still doesn't count Youtube views.
Not talking about YT but from NBC, ABC & CBS's website on counting those views.
