It didn't really register, but Jess has actually played Jill almost twice as long as Brenda did. I love them both, but they really need to use her more since she's back. I don't understand how any writer, LML, MAB, and now Josh, can't keep Jess, Eileen, any historic Y and R character front burner!

That was a terrific story on Jill and Kay. I wish they would use those two more. The meaner they are to each other the better. I definitely say they are a super couple. Outside of Victor and Nikki, they are probably Y&Rs most signature couple. And part of the show that I have some of my fondest memories of.

Jess Walton apparently asked for less time. She lives in Oregon now and commutes to do scenes when they need her. Sort of like how Tricia Cast did there for a while.

There were pictures of here home in Oregon which is beautiful. I guess Jess got to a place in life where she's comfortable with her finances and she's 64 yrs old. However I do wish Jill has a front burner storyline.

However Jess has been on the verge of leaving the show for awhile. I remembering reading the CBS In-depth magazine in 05/06 that she was going to leave, and they kept saying pls stay... Then it was said she inked a new deal to stay until her 21st year. Then in 2009 she walked away, but we were all happy for her to come back. Now she's on recurring and I'm happy for her, but I miss Jill Foster Abbott and her schemes-

I know she's in Oregon now and by choice wants to spend more time with family. I guess I assumed when Josh was bringing her back we'd have seen her at least a couple shows a week. Not this! I'm spoiled. I want my Kay and Jill again.

Oh I know....Jess is happy in her life now but I'm selfish and want Jill in big story so bad...what to do? As long as they don't kill or write off Jill and Jess is recurring...I'll take that and be happy
