Any ideas about Y&R's Fen?

Fen reportedly has a big "revelation" that "stuns" Michael and Lauren, who then struggle to learn the "truth" about Jamie. Any ideas what this is all about?

I think it's he is gay..
I think he is gay!!
IF ONLY!
It's just gonna be that he pushed Fen down that roof. Boo hoo.
....that they are fighting over Summer....
I don't think Fen is gay, wishful thinking on some people's part. Fen\Summer\Jamie triangle I want to see. Good Lord, why does everyone want to turn every character gay? I'm gay I don't want every character gay. First it was Noah now ppl has moved on to Fen. Go figure?
I like the way Summer was using her sexuality during the Fall on Fen, dominating him, and getting him to do her bidding. Not that was hot, and real.
Why shouldn't he be gay? Why couldn't he be gay?
He could/should be because
a) Y&R does not have or has ever had a contract gay character (not that ME is on contract either, but he could and probably will be at some point) and it's really high time to introduce one.
b) They were already going to make Noah gay, but they chickened out and rumors had it if anyone would be gay, it would be Fen. So that is the least they could do with that.
c) I think ME has great potential as an actor, and thus I believe he could very well deliver a palpable portrayal of a young gay man
d) They need to explain his sudden 180 degree change in attitude and hostility towards Jamie, who obviously wouldn't hurt a fly, somehow. And the secret hidden fact that he would be attracted to him would totally be plausible. There is no other plausible reason for him acting this way, unless they just go down the route of him Fen being a spoiled brat.
Sorry not good enough reasons you stated. The obession of making every character gay is tiring and old. Y&R has great potential for a bi couple in Chelsea & Chole hookup. What I don't get, it's the gay guys here that want gay males present why not a lesbian couple?
If a male character is going to be gay why do they have to be young, inexperience teen characters? Most soaps have done this route and I would like to see a mature gay male who is confident in his sexuality. This could be new or existing character.
LOL @ "none of my reasons are good enough" (seriously, I just can't stop laughing at that one)
Sure there could be a lesbian couple instead, and/or older an existing male character. In fact, that might be even better. That was never the point. Nor was it to "make every character gay" (sorry, but lol).
But never mind, it's all moot anyway, because in the current Y&R, a gay character is just not gonna happen
ok...... was Terry Lester ( original Jack Abbot ) gay in real life?
What about Phillip Chancellor ( Jill's son? )
What about Phillip Chancellor ( Jill's son? )
Yes to both; Thom Bierdz(Phillip) is openly gay and said on one occasion that there were three gay actors working on Y&R during his original stint in the '80s(himself, Terry Lester and Michael Corbett, who played Nina's notoriously psychotic husband David Kimble).
X
Don't think he's gay either. It'd be odd to now throw that in there. It hasn't been written or played that way, and nothing's been alluded to.
I do like his transformation though. I think the reveal they are talking about is that Fen is becoming aware of who his parents were in the past.
I like the story and I like his character. I'd now actually like to see more of Summer and again as I've said before her virtual absence from the story is weird since she kicked it off. They should be exploring the three of them a little more, but all in all, GREAT STUFF.
I think Fen going to be like his father Mikey and uncle Kevin---all cray cray in the head...I wonder will Fen takes notes from uncle Kevin and learn how to set fires in town-

They do have a GREAT reason in Fen's new attitude and hostility. His father, Michael. (I know...this was posted above.) When Michael came on the show, he was obsessed with CriCri (Cricket). (Hate the name and character. Has she ever acted on or in anything else besides her parent's own show?) So obsessed, that he kidnapped her, touched her(!) and went to jaijai (Jail) for it. He redeemed himself by having CriCri wash him in holy water because the Bells saw that he could act, unlike their daughter. (Another joke, not Christian's acting but being awash in holy water.) Anyway, he was a bad, bad boy when he couldn't get what he wanted, (CriCri), and now Fen is being bad, bad because he thinks Jamie came between him and what he wanted, SumSum, (Summer). Her being the daughter of PhyPhy, (Phyliss) and NicNic, (Nick). I believe that's it in a NutNut, (Nutshell). LatLat, (Later). (Someone save me.)
Can someone tell me how to put what someone said in a gray box in my posts?
His sudden change can be explained that Summer wont have anything to do with him, and he wants her to dominate him sexually and in everyday life. Fen and Summer's connection was 'interrupted' by Jamie, and he wants to get even. Plus, he really believes that there are 2 kinds of people:
Well-off -- People whose Mother co-owns a large nation-wide department store chain like Fenmore's, and their Father is the DA, and
Everybody else.
He believes that the former are better people, better off, and whose word should always be believed and trusted, even when they are guilty.
^^ Scary thought - probably true, though, but very scary.
For me, it doesn't make sense for him being this angry at Jamie.
Annoyed - yes that I could believe.
Disinterested and indifferent in Jamie's company - yes that also.
But to viciously go after him and use his own personal time and energy, which I'm sure he thinks to be valuable, that is the hard part for me to swallow. If he thinks of Jamie as nothing, and thinks he is so much below him, than his opinions shouldn't matter either.
To go after Jamie tells me Fen does care about him and does value his opinion, albeit sub-consciously.
